Boy, this compilation was powerful. After listening to each individual speech, i journal quotes and my own thoughts and observations. They all make me stop and think. But the last one in this compilatio affected me personally as i am going through an issue with destructive kids in the complex and the property manager is ignoring my messages. I WAS taking it personally yesterday. Now, it's not about me. She's looking after multiple properties, always on the phone taking a complaint. She's overworked and underpaid. She could have forgotten, my message missed in the hundreds she gets every day. When she comes for the rent tomorrow, I'm going to thank her. I would never do the job she's doing, all the stress, and there are a lot of nasty tenants. But she's always smiling. Instead of a text message, i will send her an email. So there is a papertrail in her office email. Yup, I'm going to thank her. So now im thanking you, Eddie, for giving me the nudge to open my eyes. I will read my notes again every day to reframe my thoughts every time something happens. Thank you. Oh, and on a sidenote, I miss seeing the little butterfly in some of your videos. It's my favorite element in life as it signifies my freedom.
