uno dei più bei concerti per violino del 900 di un grande compositore,forse il maggiore ,certo il più ironico e ingegnoso tra quelli italiani della prima metà del secolo . Grande Malipiero,merita maggior spazio nei programmi concertistici !

A very beautiful concerto for violin and orchestra. Malipiero uses his
usual highly personal neoclassical style, here with the lyrism and the velocity required
by the voice of the violin solo, but there is nothing mellow in this lyrism.

Enorme compositor poco difundido, tal vez injustamente estigmatizado por considerarlo cercano a Mussolini. Criterio que si se tomara para juzgar a todos los italianos, tal vez Italia estaría tan mal vista por Occidente como Corea del Norte...
