There is no room to argue absolute presidential immunity in the first place.
No one argued that the President has absolute immunity. The argument is that Presidents have qualified immunity for official Presidential acts. The question is, can the official and unofficial acts be legally separated? Even the State's lawyer concluded that there are core Presidential acts that Congress may not regulate. The State's lawyer called them some euphemism for immunity, but Gorsuch made him admit it is qualified immunity. So everyone agrees that the President has qualified immunity. We just need to decide on the qualifications.
People need to go after the Supreme Court. Dismantle or install term limits.

We can't expand the Supreme Court right now because Democrats don't have the majority in the House and we would have to pass legislation to increase the number of Justices who sit on SCOTUS before the Senate could approve additional Justices. It takes both the House and the Senate to pass legislation to increase the number of Justices for the United States Supreme Court.
