I can empathize as during my first pregnancy I too suffered a miscarriage. What I can say is that grief never goes away, you just find different ways to cope. Know that it's OK to feel the way you do, grief has no expiration date. Immerse yourself in the things that make you happy, talk about how you feel (you may be surprised how common it is), know that it's NOT your fault and lean on Marcus (our partners are mourning too). Kayla 🌸 yes painting those tables black 🖤 would probably give that room that black accent that is needed in most rooms also why don't you have glass or acrylic tops make for those tables that would probably help with all the scratching and chipping 🐞🦋

Sweetie my heart aches for you. It’s been 10 years since I lost my dad I thought I would never be able to breathe. I say that to say the pain you feel will become bearable I don’t think it will ever go away but each day it becomes bearable. Much blessings to you and Marcus.
A good option for cleaning are micro fiber towels & e-cloths. Look into them ….environmentally better & saves on paper towels. Good job !!! Also, have you ever thought about putting a sealant on your paint projects. Look into it too, to prevent scuffs…a good polyurethane will shine & seal, depending on the look you want or a matte finish.
Yep, the carpet cleaner is going to be great because you can keep your floor clean when your children are crawling. I'm praying for you, and it will happen again. God is merciful and great!

TIP: You can put a resin top coat on your table tops. it makes them more durable and you will not get any knicks in your painted tops.

I was going to mention this as well. Kayla you definitely want to put a protective top coat on your tables to help with the scratches. Polyuthene works as well, several products you can try out there.

You should create storage for your fur baby in the laundry room you all are creating. Place the olive branch behind the table where her items were…and yes paint that accent table black.
Maybe you can put Marshie’s dog toys in your new laundry room once it’s completed. I think you should keep the end tables white. It looks really good with the couches
How about an antique dresser to go behind the couch (sofa table) to store Marshie’s belongings? You can decorate the top of the dresser with some lamps and sweet masonry decor.
I had 2 miscarriages before having my 2 children. It was so hard to move on and baby showers triggered me until I had mine for my first born. It does get easier but you never forget the loss of your baby. Sending you love and light as you move forward. ❤

You can also use some lemon peel in the bowl of water to give your microwave a fresh clean smell. And don't forget to wipe off the vent in the back of the microwave. It helps with the longevity of the microwave.

Keep the cart and use it for entertaining. See if the olive tree will work in your bedroom by a window. Leave the small tables as they are, as you have enough pieces already painted black. As for the bookcase, you can try adding a little color like the soft blue/periwinkle you have in the pillow cushions. The redo turned out great!

I too had a miscarriage years ago, and I was in a depression state of mind for some time and wasn’t sure how I was going to continue on, but God helped me through my tough days. You can do a table / dress behind the couch something slim were you can fit baskets as organizers to put her stuff and it will look much better and clean
That was two great ideas to do with your island cabinet. But I would really keep it on the screen in porch as a bar. Just in case you might want to use it in your kitchen during holiday time. That way it will be in great condition for your versatility.
I like the little white tables white. 🥰 you should get a decorative vintage looking trunk for your puppies toys; it would serve both purpose’s. Hiding things and looking pretty.

I think the empty spaces look good! It goes so well with the minimalistic look you’re going for and it doesn’t look like it’s just missing something, I think it’s also the spots that make it look good too, rather if the whole side was empty it would look empty. I like it

Definitely been a rocky winter for me too as well, I lost my grandpa December 3rd then I found out I was pregnant but this is my 3 rd pregnancy my other two babies is in Heaven so I was super stressed out and scared because of my fear of miscarrying again but god been with me! I am one that like every spot covered but I’ve lately been a minimalist and enjoy the negative spaces! It feels lighter and cleaner! I love all the decor but I really was hoping for that door to be yellow! Yellow lifts the spirits, sunny energy and springy color! Also I like pops of color! Hi Kayla! I don't usually comment on videos but I want to thank you for your transparency. One of the things I look for in RUclips channels that I follow is honest depictions of real life and you do that all the time. Thank you for sharing your loss with us (I know that was difficult to share) but also the issue with the hot water heater!! Most channels make it seem like nothing ever goes wrong in their homes and we ALL know that isn't true! I would love to see the deep clean and decorate of the sunroom, bedroom, porch, backyard, side yard, front yard, etc! Oh, and tell my Frat brother Marcus I said HI!! 💙🤍🕊️
