Huge respect for Cody. The reality is that was the only hell in a cell match on a ppv called hell in a cell. The sacrifice Cody made to not disappoint fans is incredible.
Stardust ?
Adrenaline in my soul
What about Mick Foley?
@@satanlucifer what about him? I admire & respect everything hes done.He wasn't apart of the 2022 hell in a cell ppv. Do u think it's blasphemy to mention sacrifice without mentioning Mick. What about Terry Funk, Droz, Tommy Dreamer & several others. This clip was specifically about Cody's injury.
@@satanlucifer bro he’s not talking about it being the only hell in a cell match of all time, he mean it was the only actual Hell in a cell stipulation match and the only match in an actual cell of course on that ppv specifically
The whole crowd took awhile to get into it cuz he was LEGIT hurt. That swelling was UNREAL.
Some of it is real and the rest is fake in wrestling
@@nature-kv3xe Gee, ya think?
@@nature-kv3xe Please tell us more!…
@@nature-kv3xe No, the Undertaker can teleport and shoot lightning, bro.
@@nature-kv3xe nah I’m positive Glenn Jacobs can set anything on fire
Hats off to Cody and very classy of Seth for showing the deserved respect.
Yeah it's crazy because he said he went through with the match because there was no way to aggravate the injury anymore since his pec was completely separated from the bone
Respect to cody man
Seth drip is fire
Bro always drippin
Pure respect, and
Pure. Fire. Feeling funny just calling it drip, when clearly this...has been something.."next-level .different . Clearly.
Drip? Dude is wearing the side of a church on his face 🤣
@@ModernDayRenaissanceMan you obviously don't watch lol. He always has drip
Dude looks like Cicero from Skyrim, was low key expecting him to bring up the dark brotherhood.
Seth & Miz are only heels who can break character while still being in character.
Seth gets a lot of shit for being known as someone who injures other wrestlers in the ring. I want to say hats off to him for taking care of Cody inside HIAC under obvious circumstances.
He hasn’t really injured that many, people just got on him after he broke cenas nose
@@n0body550 And then there was Sting and Balor on the buckle bomb, but neither of those were Seth's fault. He performed the move perfectly in both cases. Sting's back and neck just said "Nah", and Balor took the move wrong, which led to the torn labrum.
Seth is now absolutely one of the safer workers in WWE. The only one I'd say is safer is The Miz.
Cody injured himself, but he was fine and didn’t feel much pain because his peck was torn completely off
@@jonathonbartos3061 don't forget about sami and KO
Not that many, that were his fault. What are you talking about?
I always knew Cody was dawg in the ring and has had great matches with Seth Rollins! I remember their feud with the shield
Imagine the Legacy vs the Shield
I remember Cody and Goldust beating Roman n Seth for the Titles or fired for The Rhodes (Dusty came out at the end with a hug for his Sons)
I think it was 2013 Summer or Spring Season
I remember my gut feeling being that his torn pec was makeup but I realize that was unrealistic to think. Truly incredible on both of their parts
Yeah the 1st time I ever seen somebody tear their Peck Bro that's not make up It's an internal injury
Same
I thought that too, they hyped the injury so much I figured storyline. Off comes the jacket.....Me: 😱
Yeah, no way to fake that. Not in front of a live crowd anyway.
Same but when u see the swelling in the close up its totally obviously real. Once I realized it was real it actually made my gut hurt a little lol
Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes are literally my favorite 2 wrestlers today. They would make a FIRE 🔥🔥🔥 tag team championship run
And your wish came true 🔥
Cody was putting on matches like this in AEW every week during COVID. The match he had with Brody lee the cowbell match was great to watch. RIP Brody
So he had a torn pec and is injured for 4 years in a row now?.. Think about what you're saying and what this video is about dude..
@@Mike6BITW think of him wrestling as a job and putting on performances before he went to wwe again that were great besides the pec you fool.
I can write what I please, you don’t like it move on
The ladder match with Sammy right before he left was a great match also.
@@Davidc9356 fax
That match cemented Cody's place in the Hall of Fame.
No no it didn’t
@@thisisshit5317 it did he deserves to be In hall of fame from people having him as laughing stock with family to being champion of people
Do people get paid after going into hall of fame?? like retirement pension?
@@shubhamkulkarni964 they get more merchandise such as Hall of Fame figures or in the video games so they would receive more royalties if in the Hall
@@shubhamkulkarni964 I think they get eligible to sign legends contract with wwe
Seth is so secure in his own success he doesn't mind putting over talent and praising others.
the bullrope was huge homage to dusty
Yup, with the elbow to the head shimy
Seth right here is full of respect and confidence. Not ego, there is a difference.
Cody has had some really underrated matches in his career.
I think the crowd and everyone at home did the same thing when cody took his jacket off.. we all went “OooHHH mmmyy Goooodd!!”
Nah i said “oh nice”
Easily one of the best matches of the year. Love both of these competitors.
Another fantastic interview Denise!! 👏🏾👏🏾
Great Video Denise!! 👍🏾😋
From Quizzlemania to the real deal, much respect :)
Only if you had that type of injury can you understand the incredible pain Cody was in. I read he did have shots but couldn't get full nerve shots or he couldn't use the arm. He was a little ginger with it at times. Still he was amazing!!!!
This is why I've always watched Cody ever since his debut. I knew Cody had something special. Rollins vs Rhodes is my favorite so far since Legacy and Booker T
And still had one of the greatest matches of all time.
I like how they still say ppv and executives don't get mad even though WWE changed the term lol
What's it called now? Premium event?
@@VegasPanhandlers yeah Premium Live Event aka PLE
They don’t call them ppv anymore? I haven’t watched in years. I just follow online
@@Brandon-bd3gx yeah it's premium live event now so ple also now WWE has been better you should watch
@@Brandon-bd3gx I agree with Zane. I quit watching after the Attitude Era ended. Tried to come back a few times and it was always garbage. Started watching again a lil before this past SummerSlam and it's been pretty good. Triple H has really turned things around.
When did the better version of Snooki start reporting
Wait....that ain't snooki?
Seth’s mouth looks different. Haven’t watched wwe in a while. I know he said he had a jaw injury. Love the blazer. Interviewer is adorable.
This is why he sent Cody a birthday cake a couple of weeks ago before MITB in that HIAC match, they both earned eachothers respect, and Rollins knew Cody wasn’t just back to take a title, he was there for the people and the business as a whole
Ya know respect that guy's honesty ✊
Cody has that old school back bone! RESPECT!!!
That match was pure fuqn MAGIC
This was the first new era wwe match i watched and im so thankful for it getting me back into this amazing SPORT
Seth starting to borrow accessories from Becks now🤣
Hes the Diva himself shes The Man .. facts 😂🎉❤
Best 2022 match of the year, by far.
Huge respect for Seth too - he managed to protect Cody from even worse damage while they tore the house down.
Tell em' Seth! Cody is a G!!!!!
It really was the gutsiest performance of all time in wrestling and you can't ever take that away from Cody...dude LITERALLY did sumpin 99.99999999% wouldn't do....
It’s so goddamn hard to argue any other match as the match of the year. Yeah, you got Punk vs. MJF (dog collar match at revolution), you got both Briscoe vs. FTR matches with Ring of Honor. You’ve even got that Roman vs. Brock hardcore match at SummerSlam (the one with the tractor).
All of them incredible matches!!! But this? Truly… this?! Knowing the pain Cody must’ve been enduring, and knowing that Seth was going full speed? That cage match really does deserve to be MOTY.
I just feel that Cody trusted Seth to go full speed, but to also take care of him in that ring. I also felt like Seth had enough respect in Cody knowing his own body and what he could endure. It made for a great story, and a really satisfying win.
Now that is a show-of respect
Both Cody and Seth are class acts and the match was a 5 star match and match of the night. For them to put on that caliber of a match speaks volumes
Seth is the g.o.a.t
Seth's shades😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love me sum Cody but that was dumb. Just like what Seth said, he got hurt during and finished. Cody pretty much started a marathon with a broken foot. We love you, but you gotta love yourself more.
There’s a little more to it. Cody made his decision due to the fact that his injury was actually so severe that it wasn’t possible to injure it any further so it wasn’t going to affect his recovery time.
wow, rollins is chill
The fact that Seth and Cody don’t like each other at all but always speak HIGHLY of each other is really classy
Seth Rollins IS THE FASHION INDUSTRY
😂 I love how Seth sold the shit outta' the Hell in the Cell Match, despite not being a relevant answer to the question. Like as if wrestling in Chicago, Illinois had any impact on a torn pec 😂 Bravo selling Seth, Bravo 👏 😂
Because of the circumstances, I believe that was the greatest match of all time. Cody Rhodes has go to be one of the toughest people I've ever seen.
I thought Seth was going to be in character
I love his shades
Respect for cody i was at hell in a cell and it looked brutal
i have a very close friend in the medical field and he told me he has NEVER seen a worse torn pec in his 30 years in the field
Respect to Cody for wrestling with a torn pec, but in the documentary Cody talks about how much respect he had for Seth for going through with it on his end. Imagine the ability to drive a kendo stick into someone’s torn pec. Takes balls
Respect for his opponents is what make Seth what he is today.... Truely phenomenal performer 🔥🔥🔥
Two of the modern greats of all times and love how Seth praises Cofy
i never watched that match yet.. but i've seen some YT reactors seen it and their reactions say everything about that match. i bet it was awesome and Kudos to Cody for that.
Seth, thanks as well for doing this match i know it maybe hard for you not to do it but since i guess you guys wanted to amaze the fans.. Kudos to you both
The fact that Cody went in the match with a severe injury like that sends chills down my spine, and he won
Seth got the drip.
Well those shades are the best way to run a suit like that 🤣🤣🤣
It was crazy. Easily best match this year.
Imagine if solo and Jimmy took out a wwe superstar who qualifies for elimination chamber and when it's time for that superstar to enter the chamber. The rock shows up instead. Filling that spot. Because they missing one man. Winning the match and embracing full rock heel. Going after seth freaking rollings for the world heavyweight championship. Rock and Roman both in the main event
And that was the day my fan level for Cody sky rocketed!!!!
match of the year by far
It’s funny how Seth is the only person on the current roster to have never lost to Roman Reigns in ppvs or big matches but he always gets beat by someone with one functional arm (Cody Rhoades and Finn Balor)
I've never thought about that lol
Hey Denise. Loved the fact you got an audio shout out on Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru. Thank you for the punk scrum.
I have pre-ordered Midnights. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦🍻🍹🥂🍺 Barry.
¡ABSOLUTE! Respect To Cody Rhodes For Sacrifice His Health To That Point 💔
That Cody Cutter Still Sent Chills To My Spine Until Now 😦
Damn true I respect Cody for showing the fans that it not about being cool amd showing it good but performing safely with caution and a performance of life time either small or big.
Seth "Drip God" Rollins
match was one of the best. imma go watch it
Can we just take a minute to acknowledge how fire Seth’s fit is🤑
I love you Seth
A lot of balls for Cody to wrestle the kind of match he had with that torn pec.
But at the end of the day, it takes two to tango. Seth did such a masterful job protecting Cody and making sure that he would be okay during the match.
In my opinion that match at Hell in a Cell MAY BE the greatest Hell in a Cell match in company history. I say it rivals the first one with HBK and Undertaker.
Definitely one of the greatest matches of all time. I was expecting makeup to fade from Cody’s body at some point. Once it hit that it was a very legitimate injury, I was dumbfounded.
Anyone and I mean anyone that is a Cody doubter (can’t believe anyone would still be lol) that match should of made everyone a believer. He wrestled hurt and even if he was on something to get through it (God knows I would of been lol) aside from visibly seeing it no one would none cause he was limited at all for the most part
omg shes getting big
Respect to Seth!
They killed it that night.
Seth: yeah, Cody is about that life.
Best Pop for a returning Mega Star in a long time.
Warrior respects warrior!
That match has given Cody the respect by us that regardless of who gets over and what happens in the meantime we all want Cody to win( problem is I also want Sami to get that spot lol but tbh he might be better off going for the tag titles with KO, going on a almost yr long run, losing it around SS, KO win one of the world titles by next RR and get Sami beating Kevin at WM for the title. Next year at WM40. )
I agree seth is so right I was like no way this match is going through
And it was a home game for Seth Rollins. Great match.
character can be in show to hate the opponent but in real life, this was a nice tribute to Cody by Seth
we need part four
Rollins got drip omfggg
The glasses are brilliant
Seth caught me off guard with those glasses 💀
Great match!!! 👍
The King of Drip . His outfits are always awesome
The pain he had to been during the match and the next day he wakes up
That match…😮💨😮💨😮💨 so good
For this lady's and gentlemens seth is my favorite ❤
I was in the crowd that night it was crazy let me tell u u could see the purple and blue on his hole body it was bad but Cody is a beast and won the match can’t wait to see him back 🙌🏻💯
They really did (that last part )
When Cody Rhodes exposed that torn pec I was disappointed cus I thought the match would be called off but he blew my mind by going ahead and blew it even more by winning
Huge respect for Cody after having a five star match with an torn pec not only that winning inside hell in a cell Cody for sure deserves the WWE championship even if it's for 1 day he deserves it
huge respect to them both but mostly to Cody.
Dave Meltzer: i give it a 4.999 star.
Seth with the drip
Great words by seth
Cody rhodes earned lifetime respect from me for wrestling a 5 star hell in a cell match with a complete torn pec
