While a passport is highly recommended, it is NOT required for a closed loop cruise that departs from the USA and returns to the same port.
True, but if you’re left behind it’ll be very hard to get back to the US or even the next port.

I know of many couples who have gone on a Disney Cruise without children.

That's the one we went on in 22 for our anniversary. My husband and I we did the Halloween in the Caribbean. We went to Cozumel, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and castaway key. It was so much fun loved the main dining room. We also did the beer tasting and the cognac tasting. We did the wine tasting in Cozumel.
I was on that ship! Maybe I even saw you!

Enjoyed this video very much!! It's so great to see the entire Provost family on these cruise videos. I took a cruise on the Disney Cruise Line back in 2005 through Make A Wish and it was a trip to remember. The Animator's Palate dining experience was so much fun and a favorite part of mine. After watching this video, it makes me want to do a Disney cruise for my 30th birthday, getting that full Disney fix. Your mom is such a dear and has a wonderful sense of humor!! This looks like SO MUCH FUN!
If you have the means (it is not cheap) to spend on a Disney cruise, it is well worth it. Disney does such a great job of ensuring everyone's experience is positive and memorable. They did not disappoint on our voyage to Alaska and back. On our trip, they even showed a newly-released, theatrical movie at no extra charge. I'd say the only group that may have a harder time enjoying the cruise are 14-20 year olds who are caught between being kids and adults, especially if they're not big Disney fans.

Love your videos. Wanted to let you know that service animals are allowed. In fact, there is a service animal relief area on the promenade near the bow of most of the ships.

I know! It drives me batty when people who don't sail constantly say boat. I always say "you're on a ship, if we end up in the boat we're not having a good time" implying we'll be in the life boats.

Incorrect information you do NOT need a passport for closed loop cruises out of the US a birth certificate and ID for over 15y and under 15 only requires a birth certificate
Disney cruise looks awsome and is definitely on our bucket list. My wife and I are going on our first cruise ever next month. It's not disney, we will be trying Royal Caribbean. We figured we would go a little cheaper since it's our first cruise and didnt know how we would handle being on the sea. If we like it we will work our way up to a Disney cruise next time, maybe next year. Thanks for bringing us along on another adventure.

I have a disability and I want on my vary first cruise ever and It was a Disney Cruise they were amazingly helpful. told me were to go and if I ever need help to just ask.

They do have areas that are doggy potty areas so I believe service dogs are allowed

After factoring everything, I believe cruising is cheaper than a week at a Disney park because we spent more money on food and drinks in two days at the park than the 3 nights aboard The Wish last week. We may go on the Fantasy next. Thanks for this video.

To answer the question about service dogs. Yes service dogs are allowed on Disney cruise lines. However, you have to handle all the paperwork and figure out each countries laws that you’re going to and rules paperwork etc. we have been on cruises in the past with service dogs on board

From what I recall, they were given an onboard ship credit and 20% discount on the next Disney Cruise sailing.
Our bathroom is small already. That bathroom in the room is tiny!
Passport is highly recommended, but if you are you are on a close loop cruise (meaning departure port and arrive port are the same) you can cruise with a birth certificate and state issue id
Hi Chris. You say a Disney cruise is a little more pricey. I was wondering if you book a moderate hotel on Disney property, the dining package and the cost of going to a park everyday how does the price compair?
The Mickey Churro Waffles are only served at one breakfast on 4-night cruises or longer. It can be on any day so ask your waiter if they know the day it will be served. I am unsure if they are served on 3-night cruises and there is a possibility it may not be served at all.
Royal is definitely not cheaper than Disney. Currently out of Port Canaveral. The fantasy was $1200 cheaper than the wonder of the seas.

At 13:10 you said the buffet has all the ingredients listed out- so you no longer have to ask a chef for a tour of what foods you can eat with allergies? I hope this is on my cruise! Has anyone else experienced this? I can't find any videos or pictures with ingredients listed out...

the one thing my mom really liked about disney cruise ship is they made a point was that you had to be 21 or older to drink Alcohol. I guess in other Cruise you can drink even if your a teenage because there in open waters.
For sailings originating in the US its 21+ to drink alcohol. For sailings originating in Europe, the Mediterranean, or Australia its 18+ to drink alcohol.
FYI - Cabana’s is NOT open for dinner. Love Disney cruising! 🚢

I'm surprised to learn they have balconies -- that must be amazing when the boat is at sea.
Most modern cruise ships offer veranda staterooms now. Typically you'll find: interior (no outside views), ocean view (a window to the outside), and veranda (your own outside space). There are various categories of stateroom within those room types, like deluxe, family, or concierge. If you want to learn more, search RUclips for the name of the ship you want to book and look for stateroom tours. So, like "Disney cruise line Fantasy stateroom tour" 😊
Do we know what will happen to the Fantasy after December of this year?
As of Jan. 27th 2024, the DCL website shows that the Disney Fantasy will still be doing Bahamian and Caribbean 3-5 night cruise itineraries from Jan. 2025 through May 2025.
There is NOT a dinner buffet on any DCL ship. It has NEVER been offered. Years ago they offered a SEATED dinner in the buffet, but it was never actually a buffet.
Your dinner options on DCL are the Main Dining Rooms, room service, or the pool deck. You can also try to get a reservation for Palo/Remy /Enchanté, but that's only 18+.
Do they have Kosher food on the ship?
Passports are NOT required for cruise departing and returning to the US

in Australia yes and no with passport only if the trip going out of Australia you need a passport if only going to be at sea or in case of Disney Wonder it only did laps up and down the coast for the short trips and city to city for the longer trips the only trips what need passport was Australia to New Zealand and New Zealand to Australia.
For sailings out of the US that are closed loop (meaning you start and end at the same port) US citizens can sail to the Caribbean and Mexico with just their birth certificate and state issued photo ID. If its an open loop or you're not a US citizen, you'll need a passport.
You also needed passports for the Noumea cruises on the Wonder. I got back to Sydney on Saturday from the 14-20 January cruise on the Wonder.
If the fireworks are packed with fish food, and they explode over the ship, does it get smelly? 😂 Just kidding. I’m sure they plan it better than that.
The fireworks don’t have the usual acrid fireworks smell.
I will never go on ship for 5 $ grand. Makes no sense. I can relax at home for free. Pretend the ship is fun...wacky. 😂

There are rules everywhere you go. It’s cool if cruising is not for you but saying you can relax at home well that’s true with a beach vacation. Just a weird statement
@@davidcrawford219 DCL is the furthest thing from a "booze cruise" as you can get! I've never seen an absolutely intoxicated person on any sailing I've ever taken with DCL, tipsy, yes, but not blasted. The worst behavior I've seen usually comes from overly stimulated minors who are usually quickly taken care of either by a caregiver removing them from the area or a member of the staff who helps to distract them.
Its perfectly fine to not want to cruise, but don't make stuff up to fit your narrative.
