    We have scattered solar lighting around our strawberry patch, and it seems to help keep the deer away

    Man, I want to grow strawberries so bad. Just scared about starting it, I guess. I watched your video where you went through and planted and honestly looked fun.
    I'll be doing it by hand when we start doing it though.

    Are there any specific soil requirements? We have a sandy loam more clay like than sandy. I would love to add strawberries to my farmstead.

    Farmer Dre, please let me know how much NPK to apply to strawberries, pre-plant and during growth. All I learned from you is apply 7 pounds per acre of actual nitrogen but what about phosphorus and potassium? Thank you.

    Are Ruby June berries hardy in zone 4 or 5?

    Does the N every week affect the firmness on the berry or is that a myth ? We do about 5000 chandlers the first berries were insane second flush is getting smaller though. Maybe adding a fertility program to them would help them along

    First!

  • @berrymanmontgomery7875
    @berrymanmontgomery7875 Год назад +2

    You are adding WAY too much nitrogen. You will get excessive growth and slow the ripening of the berries and have less berries.
