For sonoma things will essentially be same with some differences
1. when you hold the touch id after shut down you'll see Macintosh and "Options" option. You need to select "Options" and then continue and then rest is same as mentioned in the video
2. after restart you might have to again do a restart when you give seagate permission to enable extension on you mac

I have been on loop. Thank you and have an amazing new year! To those with 14.1.2, follow above and make sure to (1) NOT mount the drive while you are enabling system extensions on mac, (2) pick "always", (3) only when you 6:54 then mount the drive back

After completion of hard disk ejection in Mac I shut down the system as shown in video , After starting the the system by pressing power button two options showing I have selected Macintosh option and shutdown button . As you said after shutdown automatically system is not reboot to me . I only used to power on then automatically it is starting from first with out any options showing ..
@Yskkiran can you just select Macintosh HD and see what happens? If it is not working select the options and don’t click on shutdown.

My computer does not reboot automatically. I manually reboot it. when I do, nothing that is in the video is happening on my screen. Start up security utility does not appear. There is no choice, everything just starts over . I have started this process over three times from the beginning ...three times I have downloaded, installed, ejected and rebooted. When are you supposed to reconnect the drive to the cable?

Try this:
1. Turn off the Mac.
2. Press the on power button and keep it pressed.
3. Eventually the Apple logo will appear with text below it informing that if you continue holding the power button you will be able to access startup options. Keep pressing that button.
4. Eventually you will be able to select Options > Continue and this will open up Recovery.
I tried this and getting like

What should I do?
