Looks bloody awesome! ....I think every time you go past somebody who's fallen off a dirt bike you're meant to shout - "Quit napping on the job, BOB!!' >_< Bimble approved & then some, Phil :)
Yes, highly experienced rider and knew the area very well. I said to Chris that I'm up for it again next time, so I think he's provisionally reserved me a spot on next year's one. Might give intermediate a go.
Looks brilliant, but I’m not sure my old bones and muscles would hold up. I have started running my Sony on power from a power pack. I have to switch the camera on before I plug it in for it to work though. My only limitation now is memory card size.
I believe SanDisk have recently developed a 500GB micro SD! I use a power bank if I know I need it to last longer, but this time I wanted the camera to be safe inside it's waterproof casing.
Great ride Phil. Shame the weather could've been better for you. Going around the gate and watch your mate fall...lol. yes you will fit in with the Harley riders. RSM8
Oh "dam" you Phil, this really isn't helping with my dirty bike itch! :D This looks so much fun, and great value too! If you plan on going again, do let me know! :-)
Great adventuring Phil - and that's quite an amazing price for what you got!! Yeah wipe your lens, you noob, lol! Great mixture of terrains, I must admit I was expecting most of the people who fell off to actually fall off... they were leaning WITH the bike instead of leaning the bike and staying upright to get more traction. You did very well, practice is paying off - but yes, isn't it remarkable how much easier it is on a light dirt/enduro type bike with proper knobby tyres? Hope you fought off the Harley riders (usually not difficult once they remove their skull masks and reveal their real banker/accountant personas hahaha! ).
Mates and I did a weekend with these guys in 2014, think they assumed because we arrived with our own WR250s we were half decent off road riders (We weren't!) Took streight up a difficult muddy steep trail! ruclips.net/video/m7Ef_o_3taA/видео.html That weekend about killed me and convinced me I was too old and unfit for off road riding. Great vid cheers.
BIMBLE!!
Looks amazing fun!
It is brilliant although has put me off the idea of the 1200 Scrambler for off-road stuff haha.
You did great there Phil! Impressed
Thanks Lamb Chops! Think I'm going to need a bigger garage haha
Now that looked like a lot of fun, I haven't been dirt biking for donkeys years. 👍😉
It was great fun, definitely want to do more!

Hahaa, cheers Bimble!
Great video Phil, and well done on the avoidance at the end going past that gate, very close, off to watch part 2 now, RSM8.
Something I’ve never done mate but looks like great fun.
Yes, brilliant fun, shame there is nothing like this closer to home.
Steve, our trail guide was an absolute asset don't ya think?. We'd have never found the trails he took us on. Was an excellent day!

Thanks Cranky, I need the practice for when I come down there heheh :)
Does he have big head size helmets? Trying to talk my mates into going next year. That's a proper good price for what you get
Yes, he's got helmets in all sizes. I'm up for it again, will have to save the pennies and go again.
