As a Muslim revert, deciding to wear hijab ddnt come easy. It took a lot of courage , duaas and a change of heart to be able to live simply to cover my hair and to live up to my Islamic identity. May Allah make it easy for us to submit to His decree
As a married woman coming from a Jewish family, I wanted to say that I respect and admire Islam and my fellow sisters and brothers under G-d. I have begun to embrace hijab/full hair covering as a way to draw closer to G-d. Thank you for making this content and addressing your beliefs, it is needed in this world.
@Nancy Ajram Fan at least with how I was taught, it is because we wish to keep the name of G-d as sacred-in the sense that, should the piece of writing that the name is written on be destroyed-it is not “destroying” the name of G-d, which is sacred…but just an abbreviation. Anyway, there may be other reasons I’m not thinking of at the moment, but that’s the top one that’s coming to mind.
We really need more people like you. This issue has become a norm to many people and it’s truly frightening how our kids can easily get triggered by this. Thank you for speaking about it.
I agree. The reality is the more time passes, the more wrong things become normalized in our society. Not necessarily on the topic of hijab, but just many things. I feel like this generation of kids will end up suffering immensely if we don't know how to juggle deen and dunya in a way that suits them. May Allah(swt) be with us ❤️
@@lonelyrebel3865 I disagree with you. Speaking about proper hijab does not mean I am extreme. You can disagree with me and have a different opinion, totally okay, but don't label me as an extreme person.
@@lonelyrebel3865 I am but I have to disagree with you. We have to cover our hair…The hidjab code is not established by us, but by Allah. The issue here is that these influencers are sinning in public there for they can lead others to do so as well…
I agree 100% that some influencers don't respresent the hijab as it should however , I disagree with you too. Islam also tells you that there is nobody worse than the hypocrits. So if you're wearing hijab for every reason other than your relationship for Allah, if you decide to take a break she has every right to take it off. Secondly , we are unaware compeletely of that person's relationship with Allah. I know women and I influencers who wear hijab but don't even pray and I know women who don't wear hijab yet dress modest and practice Islam in a beautiful way. You cannot surround yourself with people you agree with 100% of the time because that's not realistic.
MashAllah sis. I totally agree with this, I reverted back in 2013 and I followed so many hijabi’s who I looked up to and motivated me to wanting to wear hijab.. then they started taking it off.. broke my heart.. I also fell away from my faith but Alhamdulillah Allah guided me back. Now I wear hijab and have been so much better about practicing my deen. I had to start unfollowing people who took me away from it.. it has helped so much. May Allah continue to guide us, I pray he rewards you.
Well said, I have been in this same boat before. It is not uncommon, which is why I made this video. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this as well ❤️
I follow a sister who blew up on Instagram because of her conversion to Islam, her journey as a Hijabi and her style. What I love is that If she posts something that isn't the way of Islam she lets it be known that what she is doing is not the right way and that she is working on it. Instead of influencers who ignore, block (unless for mental health of course ) and blow up on people who care about them.
This is good progress, she is being honest, rather than hiding around the new image she is displaying. At this moment, it's up to you to decide how this will impact you. Everyone is different.
@@Alexandra-lh3vw Bro, how can you wear hijab claiming to care about modesty when you inject foreign substances into your lips all for the sake of conforming to beauty standards
I'm a Christian not Muslim, but you just inspired me to unfollow a Christian influencer I've been feeling uneasy about for a while since she started dressing significantly less modestly in recent years. Going to go through my RUclips subscriptions and clean it up
Yeah I was following someone and she was a teen raised in a religious conservative family and made videos on dressing modestly. I went on her ig and saw her wearing half tops and makeup after disappearing off RUclips for some months. She also dyed her hair. This are all things she used to be against. She then got a boyfriend and she is now a teen mom.
Girl can I just say, you are so dang refreshing! Like a glass of water I needed after a day of fasting in Ramadan in some July ass heat. I have been wanting to be an influencer for so long, but seeing how eventually hijabs (which I am) succumb to pressure on the internet and take off the hijab eventually, it makes me want to not even get on here and be tempted because quite honestly I am wearing my hijab in a place where there's no one else like me near me, my family is far away, I never see other Muslims and I struggle alot with it, many people around me are hostile towards Muslims as well. So, to see you holding firm and strong is AMAZING!!!!! Mashallah, may Allah help you always keep your faith strong in this stuff, and keep you having this beautiful integrity.
How is it that hijabis always talk about other hijabis who show a bit of hair, wear half sleeves etc but never talk about hijabis who wear tons of makeup and tight clothes. If hijab means dressing and acting modest how is a full face of makeup displaying modesty??
It doesn't matter what type of hijab someone wears, most Muslims (both men and women) are judging and putting hijabi women down. The one thing I wish these overrated "influencers" would stop doing is JUTIFYING and DENYING doing anything wrong. They literally are mocking Islam by saying "im Muslim but I dont follow anything Islam says, defend my public sins, and put people down if tell me I'm doing anything wrong." That's like someone being Christian and saying they enjoy burning bibles. I'm not saying muslim = perfect, or how dare these women take if off, but they don't even have the shame anymore to admit it's wrong or a religious violation. They are literally flaunting and encouraging sinning instead of saying "I did action X but I understand it's wrong" and that's what's actually disgusting
@@TheEpicChikidii I see a lot of shaming for women who don't wear the hijab though 🤔. We need to respect other ppl's choices regardless of religion. Only God can judge & not another person who acts like God's gatekeeper. Nobody needs to apologize for anything. Ppl need to mind their own business instead of policing another woman's clothes & lifestyle.
@@TheEpicChikidii so you saying a woman should wear hijab even if it makes her suicidal. Mental health is key. If wearing hijab doesn’t support your mental health then take it off and live a normal life
@john zeb yes if you feel constricted. If it’s some thing you wear just because you have too. Depression can set in and may lead to suicidal thoughts. Just saying
@john zeb hijabis get targeted in hate crimes, that can make one suicidal. There are also women who are forced into wearing it (I was one) and even though I wasn't suicidal, having something done to you without your consent can make someone else feel that way.
Respectfully I don’t agree with you on that. I think wearing hijab is a very personal decision, many wore them because parent told them to or besides that I think anyone should be able to cover or uncover without any opinion unless asked for it. I also think we all can follow and unfollow whoever we want that doesn’t bring anything good on our lives. I think if we want to follow Islam, we should follow the Quran and teachings not a influencer. We all know the social media is not 100% real already Edit.. adding this: I think we should stop putting so much pressure on hijabis. I know somehow they represent Islam but they are humans as well. Again look for Islamic advice to your local masjid or kuran
I agree with you. A Muslim is a Muslim because of their iman not because of wearing a scarf on their head. The Quran and the Sunnah should be our influencer. Hijab is a personal choice.
@@deborahhamsho4799 i think we all are in a different stage in our Iman. I’m a convert and to be very honest I find it difficult for me to wear it, but not for not wearing it I consider myself a bad Muslim. I prayed everyday, I fast, and try my best for now to be a good Muslim.
Who are you to judge a girl dressing the way she wants? You expect us to not judge you for wearing hijab then how do you feel entitled to judge other women. Islamic hyprocrisy is too much to handle!
I completely agree with your message, and you’re so brave to share it in a world where every action for yourself is considered an attack on someone else. Thank you for sharing this ❤️
I think it is still judgmental that you just diss them because at the end of the day it is about who the person is not how they are dressed. Just because they removed the hijab doesn't mean they are not the same person.
How is unfollowing someone judging? I often clean the list of people i follow and sometimes i unfollow some people simply because their content does not relate to my lifestyle anymore. No judgement in that. So when someone you follow (because you relate to their hijab content and ",hijabi lifestyle") decides to remove hijab, that which related me to them, i simply unfollow because i no longer will find the hijab content i initially followed them for.
I find it offensive when these people have “influencer” in their bio. They then post a video about removing the hijab and that no one should follow them. Bro, your job is to post ads about certain items and things so we are influenced to buy them. But it doesn’t only apply to products or tangible things. It applies to how they carry themselves, their lifestyles, the image they put out. Like you said, they have to be responsible with what they post. And deny the fact they have any influence on people is ridiculous, tell that to the brands that pay you then.
Let's start addressing our flaws before addressing others ppl's flaws...It is very important to work on one's self first.. just not to fall into hypocrisy💕
There is no compulsion in Islam. It is stated in the Quran but culture in some circles over-rides it. Pretty much all my sisters and closest friends wear a scarf. I don't. I am not bothered if someone wears one or doesn't. If they speak modestly, dress modestly, are humble in their actions, follow the 5 pillars and don't hurt others or back bite, then this matters to me. I've seen covered and uncovered Muslims act awful. It isn't the hijab that would influence my choices in following someone . If it was, I guess my social circle would mean I wear one. I think it is sad that a person could be swayed to take it off, because they don't feel strongly enough in it. Also Muslim influences might get intimated in putting it on for risking losing followers and that is sad also. Be true to yourself no matter what. No one is going to the grave with you. It is between you and Allah.
I thought there was no compulsion in Islam? Modesty comes in many ways. It is a huge gray area that is largely subjective. For example, some schools of thought are against wearing makeup. One's area to "draw the line" may differ from others. I think living by the Golden Rule is best. Treat others how you want to be treated.
Modesty is Islam. Modesty is Christianity. Modesty of Judaism. Modesty is in many faiths. Islam says you can’t force people, but you should call people out especially when they’ve made a following of hijabis and trying to influence western vain beauty. This mindset exchanges your self worth of the inner to the outer
Someone's journey is between them and God, not anyone else's business. So it is also not right with God for us to judge and disfellowship someone who takes a different journey IMO. I totally respect the concept of following people that make you feel good and align with your values and ideas. Thanks for sharing, dear.
The title is exactly What i do ! I subcribe to every hijabi on RUclips to give them support even if im not interested in their content and when i see they are no longer hijabi because a little internet fame i unsub without bashing in the comments
I think your trying to get your message across and I personally respect that it's actually very good for young people to understand the aspect of social media and how it can affect them negatively... when it comes to Islamic believes and its law, I would like to address one matter which I feel many people don't understand... The term hijab... Hijab its not only the scarf you where on the head but any type of beatification is also under hijab law.. Especially makeup Muslim are not allowed to wear it in public and also perfume when going out..i believe Allah has elevated Muslim women to be confident in themselves and embrace their natural beauty..so many women have a problem that they can't go out in public without makeup it makes them insecure.. Until one artist addressed this issue with writing a song about it... "" scars to ur beautiful".. Now as Muslim women Islam actually protects you from feeling that way and embracing ourselves but we don't value it... It's sad honestly..
i feel like I’m listening to an older sister. This is exactly why I follow you. I’m not a hijabi but I am Muslim. I do want to wear the hijab one day InchaAllah but I just feel like I’m not ready and I don’t want to wear it then take it off I want to be in a state where I know I will be able to wear it forever InchaAllah. I still have so much work to do on my modesty first. I follow you because you make modesty seem SO beautiful and even the hijab beautiful and especially for us women I feel like it can be so hard especially because we live in the western world. May Allah guide us all to the straight path 🤲🏻 btw really love your makeup machaAllah ❤️
What a beautiful message to read this morning🥰Messages like this are what bring me so much happiness knowing my efforts to maintain true to myself are being seen. It’s so important for me to be myself , thank you for sharing your thoughts with me Iman ✨
If you’d like to try what worked for me… I only wore hijab at home for months before wearing it outside. It helped me feel comfortable with a new look and style in the safety of my own home, so when I left the home the headscarf became a safe haven even while out in public. 🥰
Thank you for being so Vocal about that, as a hijabi in an Arab country i can proudly say that I don't even have an IG account despite being a full modest Hijabi, praying 5 times a day and fast regularly, but I don't entrust my demons to be exposed to all that temptations specially on IG, how girls are dressed and behave is contradictory to my belief system, and unfortunately we don't have so many influencers like you, who are TRUE modest hijabi, your video made me more comfortable in my own skin Thank you so much for that My warmest Salam from Egypt ❤️
refreshing topic. 100% agree. I do too, unfollow them. No hate, just a way to protect any emaan left in me. Also, they might want to attract different kind of audience with new appearance.
I just don't feel comfortable with the word idolize in an Islamic discussion. as Muslims we don't do idolatry. perhaps the word admire is a better choice? ❤
I don’t wear the hijab but ur video reminded me of a influencer I was following who wore the hijab prior to becoming extremely popular on Instagram and then when she hit 900k followers she went from wearing hijab to the extreme where it wasn’t just removing the hijab it was wearing bikini, short skirt, short tops. I have nothing against anyone doing that but you said it perfectly when u said we need to be “humble”. Fame and fortune should not throw away your whole belief system.
@@MC-fw5vt I am not judging anyone and that’s unfortunate that’s what you took from my comment. All I am saying is that it’s hard to understand how one can go from one extreme to the next extreme. I don’t care how anyone practices Islam. I’m the last person to judge how anyone practices.
It’s very nice to hear just your opinions and I feel so bad sometimes when I see beautiful Muslim influencers or small bloggers etc and start to remove for makeup and fashion purposes and I can’t even imagine to understand breaking away from that physical representation of faith . As someone who dad is a Christian pastor and now I study more world religious spirituality and practice Buddhism I find it like there was a time I totally was never spiritual or in touch with any religious text or reading and now I’m on my journey back to listening and learning and it’s like you said in ways a journey . I think many probably feel like societal pressure because there are those boundaries pushed or many encouraging who don’t have the best thoughts for that person. I think much of social media is controlled by the male gaze at times and it can feel nice for once to be praised instead of facing negativity and what happens is then you fall into that space where praise outweighs morality and spiritual practice. It’s not “popular” and “cool” to practice modesty , be open about religion, to do all that . Many want to just kinda forget about any other worldly obligations and just scroll and post whatever. I honestly think with the strength and perseverance and almost motherly teaching role you and many other strong women are taking you can be part of the solution representing strong willed successful women in the space while still following closely to your faith. Take all this with a grain of salt I think you are beautifully spoken and very educated and I just love hearing your point of view and so thankful you made the video for us to learn and add into the conversation . 💜✨
Definitely agree with you. I truly respect and love this, Ik this video was not easy for you to make, but many girls need to here this. This is a very beneficial and motivating video ty for it. You are a very strong and wise women. May Allah help anyone who struggles with this 💕
Well said lovely, I am not a hijabi yet however I truly believe if you choose to wear this beauty of faith then do it rite. Do it with Faith and love for our religion. At the end of the day please the creator not the creation!.
Vanessa, beautiful words. Of course, this video is never to bash anyone who doesn't wear it. Rather , if you are, just be careful because who we follow can cause insane temptation without us realizing it.
I really appreciate this video and I think lots of other influencers should be honest and speak up too! I just want to talk briefly about the judging part. Personally I think it's ok to judge people. The word "judge" is taken out of context nowadays. According to the dictionary, 'to judge' is a verb used to form an opinion or decision about someone. Every single day we make opinions about people whether it's our loved ones, our children's friends, teachers, influencers, the politicians etc. And that's okay because sometimes we need to allow these opinions of ours to 'judge' others in order to make decisions like if a doctor or clinic has had negative reviews by many people...will you still go there and think no I won't judge?
I agree 100% There is a difference between judging by having r your own ideas and making your own opinions with critical thinking (which is healthy) and between bashing, belittling and humiliating someone who made a mistake. Also no one is entirely good or bas so just cuz someone made a mistake doesn't make them a bad person. At the same time this doesn't make the mistake ok. Wrong is wrong. We shouldn't normalize it
Mashallah sis ❤️ thank you for this video. Hijab is such a struggle especially for reverts like myself & Ive been thinking of taking it off sooo many times astaghfurallah but dua is so powerful. Again, thank you for this Jazakallah khair 🤲
I have been in your shoes before. I just shared a new video on my channel about my journey too. The struggle is real, but hamdellah we are all capable of making the best choices. Deen over Dunya always 🥺
Preach sister! People always get attacked for speaking about this topic. It's truly disappointing for me when influmecers remove their hijab but I don't dwell on it and simply unfollow. The reason I supported them was because of the hijab, of its no longer important for them, so be it. I don't need to curse at them but I definitely don't want them in my feed. It was their choice to remove the hijab and it's my choice to unfollow
@@tribalrootsstudio5473my feed is filled with diverse people how is that hypocrisy ? I follow non Muslims because of different reasons, if let's say someone is a natural hair influencer and they no longer have natural hair I'd have no reason to follow them. There's no law that says you can't follow non muslims
@@miskellaneousK You can easily tell the hypocrisy when Muslims assume self righteousness without looking deep into their own mistakes . You follow many non Muslims without feeling offended but you would abandon a Muslim because she did not wear hijab. You could also be a Muslim not fulfilling all 5 pillars but I don't think that should mean you are evil to the extent of people should start boycotting you. In the West there are white people who demonise Sisters wearing hijab often making life very hard for young girls especially school goers . The kind of disgust I feel seeing a hijab wearing sister being harrassed for the hijab is the same measure it would feel for a Muslim to mistreat another because they didn't wear a hijab.
@@aleenazahir have you considered it might be this imperfection that makes people unfollow? Consider someone who's struggling with wearing the hijab and then they find an influencer who makes them confident to wear it and still be "cool". Said influencer then goes ahead and removes her hijab. How is that struggling hijabi supposed to feel? You are already struggling wearing your hijab, the person who gave you motivation removes hers, you might start considering taking off yours. This Is just an example People have the right to choose what they want in their feed, whom they want to influence their lives. It's not "abandonment". Chances are I would have probably followed a lot of these ex hijabi influencers if they had started out their careers not wearing the hijab. But because I followed them solely for their hijabi lifestyle, I can unfollow when they remove it. We are all struggling with faith and iman so let people do what they want to make things easier for them.no one is claiming self righteousness. To give an example of a non hijabi influencer, Danielle Biah, I follow her because I like her energy and content, she's never worn the hijab and that's okay with me. I don't believe in harassing anyone for not wearing or removing their hijab that's completely unislamic, I simply unfollow and go about my life.
May Allah continue to guide you and protect you sis ❤ it really breaks my heart how hijab is not seen as Important anymore. I love hijab so much and it makes me happy it createa this warm in your heart and makes you feel at ease.
No you wrong. Most of the time influencers remove Hijab because they did not believe in the first place, and was wearing it because of Islamic that demand women to wear a Hijab or get’s punishment.
A lot of people in the comments are like „you are so brave for speaking out like this“ I honestly think that it has nothing to do with braveness because what she was saying in this video was 1000%the truth and nothing but the truth and what every Muslim/Muslima should agree to without getting anyhow mad. Me as a hijabi myself, I can’t agree more to this video. Seeing so many influencers removing their Hijab got me shook and the biggest problem for me was;How should I react. Leave a comment that I am happy for her and that I respect the decision? -Couldn’t bcs that would be a lie. Leave a comment saying that I think it’s sad? - well I would probably get blocked or attacked by the comment section.. So this Video definitely helped me in how to react towards such influencers! Thanks for this great video and I wish that so many more people come and watch this video bcs it is highly time! Definitely going to support this channel as much as I can
I agree what you say about drawing lines and not crossing lines etc, in that same line of thinking, why do you think it’s okay to speak about modesty and sell hijabs if you wear so much makeup. Not judging but a sincere question. We all know as hijabis that makeup is the opposite of hijab as it is meant to beautify us. So why is it that makeup is ok? Don’t you think that the same impressionable young girls you speak of will be wrongly influenced by the full face of makeup you and the models of your hijabs wear? If you truly believe in providing hijabs and promoting modesty, shouldn’t you do that properly, without makeup on yourself and your models? Why should people also not unfollow you since makeup and beautify oneself in front of men we aren’t related to is a sin?
Don’t you think on following people based solely on their hijab is kind of reducing them down to their hijab? There’s more to women than wearing hijab.
Salam Alaiykum, Zahraa, I just came across this video and your youtube channel. I absolutely love your advise, I think it's absolutely respectful. Jazak Allah Kayran. :)
Hey Zahraa why are you wearing make-up? You should not be trying to enhance your beauty because the hijab is supposed to cover your beauty and awra. Hypocrite to unfollow girls who don't wear hijab when you try to enhance your beauty.
Because that's their job. They are a walking piece of an entire marketing scheme and if they didn't influence then there would be no purpose for their line of work whether that be for companies who recruit them or their own business. It's just part of what they do and it can both be a negative, positive or everything in between experience for the people who follow them. That's why we should practice self control when noticing things that could affect our moral compass. Nothing is wrong with finding inspiration from others, but always remind yourself how little it should impact you and your faith.
Great points! It’s kinda like someone can commit all the sins they want and at the end of the day, God is truly their judge. But it becomes a collective problem when they publicise their sins and it’s no longer just affecting them but other believers at large, not only with the possibility of leading them to sin but also leading them to question their beliefs.
I agree but at the same time I don’t think ppl should be sheep and follow other people who are struggling with their faith. They are human. That’s not the influencers fault but our own
So so so happy this issue has finally been addressed!!! So respectfully, coherently and at the same time keeping it real and straightforward 😭. May Allah bless you and reward you for doing your part flawlessly! I pray we meet one another in the highest levels of paradise. 🤲🏼😊
It’s important to unfollow women who remove their hijab or women who dress not very modest. Not saying I’m superior to them but just because I too am a human with desires and shortcomings. If I see women this way or influencers I can easily be swayed that way. I prefer a life where I am covered and company is very important. Including who you follow and see on instagram.
♥️♥️♥️I Agree with you 💯 I don't know what going on but I trying keep hold on my Deen and Iman I love love my Hijab it's my crown on my head and the verse of the Holy Quran that I am representing♥️
People are people and everyone has a choice to do as they please. Our journeys are not equal. The best advice is to do your best as a hijabi and realize who you follow truly influences your life.
Thank God for atleast one person who speaks sense, alot of these ppl out here are excusing everything with 'you cant judge them'. Yes we cant, but someone of influence who SINS publicly will be accountable for whomever they misguide with that action, and anything that harms our community and misleads our youth is our business. If u sin in private no one would care, but publicly showing it off like its something your proud of is against islamic ettiquette.
Hey, im curious if those girls upload some video and promote or encourage others to take off their hijab? What fo you mean by publicly showing it? I dont know any of those girls. So, pls reply.
I too unfollowed influencers who took off the hijab. I did that because when they removed the hijab they acted as if it’s a liberating thing and also got LOTS AND LOTS of support from foreign non Muslim influencers on the matter (when they shouldn’t have stuck their nose on the matter) and it pissed me off (it’s like they’re trying to say “see, this is what good looks like, that’s what gets us to applaud to you support you and recognize you here on this platform, in this secular world or western world or social media in General” I unfollowed because i was interested in what they do/seeing some nice fashion ideas but mainly because they where hijabjs and somewhat relatable and made representation for us But after the matter I realize how some of them where showing doubt in Islam and were sharing they’re questions and doubts in their stories, when they where struggling spiritually instead of turning to Allah and making dua and keeping it a secret they went and confided in social media the general public (which IMO isn’t the best place especially it being “social media” your not exalt gonna get the wisest people there or the scholars but young impressionable kids and a few adults who may or may not be swayed by this worldly life) and so they looked into their followers and got some perspective from them instead of Allah and Islam and Quran the holy book that guides us and teaches us through eras unto the future till the day of judgment There’s a lesson for everyone in it So there was of course actions and points that lead to them making that big unnecessary decision of taking off the hijab (if they lived somewhere in Europe or America, a place where there is more hate towards Islam/Islamaphobia crime and attacks against Muslims) then I’d totally understand, as Allah made the religion to make our life easier and don’t to make the religion a burden on us So hence when being in a society where they view the headscarf very negativity to the point where it puts you in danger. Then you have the right to take it off and “blend in” not saying that you should go naked, no! You can have your hair out but still dress modestly and not reveal your curves etc And it should be fine Modest and among the crowd blended so it sagas and you look part of the society and not stand out like a sore thumb But if you choose to stick to the hijab despite the negative perceptive that expiry you live in has on it, then it’d be like jihad and Allah would reward you for hanging on to it and enduring the hardship Either way it’s fine and your choice But the influencers I unfollowed loved in Middle East Dubai like… why? The people don’t disrespect nor do they fight against you, so there is nothing stopping or making it hard for you to be hijabi there That’s what Pisses me off because they choose to trade diamonds (the hereafter) with stones(this Dunya) and share it shamefully to the world as if it’s something to be proud of. Ya lateef may Allah protect us from such conditions and ideas So I don’t to be part of what they’re doing and I don’t encourage the image and messes they’re combating to young influential Muslim girls ( I was a teen when I witnessed my favorite influencers Muslims models taking off their hijab and it hurt me really, made me very disappointed) But it’s between them and Allah in the end of the day and they’ll be accountable for what they have done and what kind of influence they had on people It’s sad honestly May Allah guid them may Allah guid us towards the straight path towards imaan taqwaa yarab That’s All I got to say and may Allah ease our troubles and hardships

I am not even Muslim yet I also unfollow Muslim influencers who remove hijab 🙈 I'm Jewish so I cover my hair, I don't want to be negatively influenced to think that you can wear what you want and still claim that same religious identity
The thing is, sharing feelings even in a positive way, or giving sincere advice is seen negative by some of these influencers. It’s sad. One time I private messaged an Influencer that I really loved and respected. I gave her some sincere advice in the most respectful way possible. I’ve never done that before but I really admired this one influencer, so I decided to give her some advice. But, all she did was block me and it really upset me. It’s sad that we can’t even give advice these days. Like you said best thing to do is just unfollow.
Maybe she heard advice from every side and felt hurt by people telling and advising her how to live. I think everyone should respect other people’s decisions and not try to change them based on personal values. Even if it hurts you to see her having another lifestyle than you we can accept that and still celebrate them.
@@inikalinden7335 it’s our responsibility as Muslims to remind our sisters and brothers when they are doing something wrong, it comes out of love for them and fear for them to go into the hellfire. There’s nothing wrong with what this sister did by giving an influencer some advice in a respectful manner. It is actually a sin for us as Muslims to keep our mouths shut when we are seeing someone openly sinning.
@@RadiantVeils I find this take very interesting. Do you follow this philosophy only on a Muslim's personal acts of worship such as how they dress and wear hijab, or whether they fast or pray... or do you follow this philosophy when Muslims take actions that very openly and adversely affect others especially vulnerable persons. Do you advise the Muslim brother or sister that beats their spouse or publicly berated them? Do you get involved when you hear about sexual assault, child abuse, domestic violence made by anyone you know or do you prefer to mind your business?
@@RadiantVeils I speak from personal experience and from my experience the same people who claim its their duty to tell a Muslim if they are sinning and advising them are the same people that keep their mouth shut, avoid involvement or supporting victims of abuse in the Muslim community or families. Those same people are the ones to suddenly claim they want to be neutral, don't want to get involved, don't know the details of the situation, etc.
100%!!! I follow people bc I want to be influenced a certain way. If I see that they no longer represent what i initially followed them for, I can’t stay. I never say anything, bc it’s their decision, but that decision affects me in a way that I can no longer be there for. So I’m out.
I think as a moslem, who knows that removing the hijab is wrong, we have to give that influencer an advice on how this is not god for herself first and then how it effects all these girls......(of course in a good way like the islam thougt us), so that maybe she will return and do what´s right. Because we are moslems and we have to stand for each other. I would like for someone to give me an advice too when I do something wrong because we are all humans and we all won´t do the right thing all the time and sometimes we just get influenced by the community.
May Allah bless you and protect you, you are so precious. 💕💕💕Love the way you think. Tho i didn't like when someone pointed my mistakes as a young girl but now i appreciate all the advices i got and remember all the people who cared enough to talk to me. May Allah reward them all.
As Salam Walakum sis. I have such respect for you for making this video. It does take guts b/c in today’s world saying things like this ppl can become so sensitive to your words they take it completely out of context. I agree with you so much on the idealization of other ppl. In fact I don’t even like that word b/c I hear the word “idol” and I think of idol workshopping. & not to sound too deep but it’s the way ppl look up to influencers and celebrities it does become modern day idol worship. If an influencer or celebrity says something ppl don’t think twice and go along with it and the list goes on. Again. Thanks for speaking on this topic b/c it needs to be said.
Very true Mira! This is the issue I had. I am a normal person just like everyone. I think the issue is when I started to idolize some influencers, to the extent it shocked me when they made a choice I was not proud of , if I took myself. It is a sensitive topic, no doubt, but I was very careful in my choice of words and hope that it is only a positive message for everyone. At the end of the day, staying true is the ultimate goal. Thank you for sharing your thought with me 💗
After this video ..... After this . I am liking you cause their is definitely need of this kind of video . Love u sis and I am your new subscriber 😘😘😘😊😊👌😘😊. You look gorgeous in hijjab .
I went back and forth with my hijab bc of some influencers I used to look up to but Alhamdulillah now I love my hijab . Thank you Zahraa for making this video
You are one super honest and real influencer. As a follower of many Muslim influencers on social media, I always felt when I would see women remove hijab it would make me think about my situation or whether it's ok to take it off. I completely agree with you, it's best to unfollow if you feel it is affecting you. You are such an open and fearless person talking about this. Super proud of you
I've found your page today and u got my follow! Thank you for speaking of this. I hate how people keep putting hate comment, yes they're making mistakes but by trash talking them they're part of the problem. And they be doing a different type of sin by saying bad things. Just unfollow and maybe support them in a way I liked how u were hijab before try to motivate them BACK. And the rest is up to them!
That‘s so relatable. I agree 100% with everything you said. But I think nobody should get to the point where they copy everything an influencer does just because they’ve idolised this influencer. I love your honesty and I think this video really helped me to not feel judgemental when unfollowing someone who might influence me in the wrong way. Ty❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ PS: I live in Austria and it‘s not easy for me to buy the prayer set you mentioned on Instagram. I loveeeee the style!!! So I‘d be SO happy if I won! Love ya habibti🤍
I agree here. I have been in that position before, and it does sink you. Unfortunately, many girls drown in this idea of accepting what is wrong because their fav influencer did it. May Allah preserve the love of Hijab in our hearts 😉 The video for the giveway is not up just yet 🤪 But when it is, the rules are simple to enter. Inshallah if you win, you will be notified 😍 Much love 💞
exactly agree with this video, I always unfollow without saying anything negative to those girls, just not to be affected myself by them removing hijab. recently I even started not to follow or unfollow those who I feel like their hijab shrinks, cause this is also affects me in a negative way.
I know this wasn't the easiest video to make but I'm so proud of you for sharing your thoughts. You're right, even subconsciously, the content we consume affects us, and Allah knows best of course.
We should be teaching our children to make their own decisions using their own moral compass, the difference between becoming influenced to a certain degree can be taught? If someone wishes to remove their hijab then there is a person and internal struggle within themselves- there is no compulsion in religion - our younger generations will always question wearing the hijab a lot of them put it on as young children and then their ideals fluctuate- religion is highly personal I’m not sure being “influenced” is as simple as you are making it out to be.
Hypocrisy is another sin especially posting it on the media you wear makeup and you shape your eyebrows while wearing the hijab which is suppose to cover your beauty for the dedication to Allah and makeup does the opposite of that, no one is perfect but influencers” like you are this gen looking up to and you’re leading them on that you’re a hijabi with makeup , you’re just as worse as those who take off the hijab at least they don’t call it that
Nice one,l have always wanted to become a muslim and cover my head because l feel happy anytime l put on a hijab,l feel more comfortable dressing like a muslim gives me inner peace, much love from 🇰🇪,wish one day l become a full muslim lady,l will be glad....😘🥰😍
Hi! Thankyou so much for this video.. you might not know but this popped up so randomly I was just having thoughts of taking my hijab off because i felt like at my workplace the management kind of differentiate the hijabees and non hijabees. And that bothered me a lot . And just was thinking like if i take of my hijab maybe my life would be a little better but i was having doubts and very uneasy to think about taking off it but then i saw this video and it definitely helped me a lot . Im not gonna take my hijab off to please other people. Thankyou so so so so much. The only thing thats keeping me not taking off it is i think about what’ll happen when i die and I don’t want to commit a big sin by taking my hijab for nothing . You’re such a sweetheart and so honest . I love the content you make and I’ll definitely watch more of ur videos! Also if possible do share some beautiful hijab tutorials! May allah bless u ❤️Much luv ❤️
Thank you so much for posting this Zahraa. I love the nuanced take you had on this topic. I can honestly say that as someone who never questioned the hijab, and wore it almost my entire life, when influencers began taking it off three years ago, I started to have subtly negative thoughts on hijab. There was an increasing discourse within the hijabi community on whether hijabi was even beneficial or necessary. Once I realized this was happening, I made the choice to unfollow ex-hijabi individuals. It’s important to always remember that it’s one thing to follow non-hijabi Muslim influencers who have started their platform with this precedent- versus people who establish their platform on the basis of being a hijabi influencer and gain a following for this reason. My faith can still benefit from choosing to follow non-hijabi Muslim women whose content and values align with my own. But the same cannot be said of the latter. May Allah bless and reward you for having the courage to speak your mind in a beautiful way 💕
When you are unfollowing someone just because of what they wear then you are already judging the other person and that is sad. This cancel culture must end in my view. We dont know that who is more closer to Allah or God and as a society we should not be that judgmental. Also imagine a video where a Non-Muslim will state the the same that they are unfollowing Muslim women in hijab then it will be akin to Discrimination. The same goes both ways. Thanks.
brother whats the point even in practicing if you half way in it like its no bodies business this sense of individualistic lifestyle is insane try to live in the forest where no ones around
Mashallah thank you for using your voice for this. We are all on a journey and we respect all our sisters who struggle to wear appropriate attire and behave respectfully with the opposite gender, but it needs to be said that it’s not okay. We have to encourage and remind each other because it’s so easy to be led by the dunya. Personally it’s helped me to follow influencers that have better hijab than me.
I respect your opinion and the way you spoke on the topic. I’m curious, do you unfollow/not follow someone who wasn’t wearing the hijab in the first place?
A revert myself , I use to wear hijab in mid 90s, hijabs as we have now weren’t not available then so wore those square scarves, however I was wearing for wrong reason, and eventually stopped wearing and although I continued in believing in god my practice of faith stopped. Fast forward to last year , I was coming back to Islam and this year started again wearing the hijab, praying but all for the right right reasons, cannot stress that enough. You are spot on with this video, when you see someone take off their hijab or take on or off other values, it can leave you thinking whether you are doing the right thing or second doubt yourself, or maybe if they don’t need religion or other maybe we don’t need either. Just like driving a car, we look in a rear mirrors and front mirror to see who is around us, same way we need to keep a check on people we listen/watch, things start to effect us in small doses that it gets unnoticed even by our own selves, at the end of the day remind yourself why you started follow in the first place.
I am not a Muslim yet but I feel like I'm in an inward process of becoming one. I do happen to have an opinion on this topic though! I agree with you. I get that everyone is 'on their own journey' but them being on their 'own journey' doesn't change the unchangeable essence of Islam and the code of its adherence. I think non-hijabi Muslim women just aren't seriously devout. I think modern individualism bleeds into everything and this is an example. I don't view religion as this thing that you can chop and change at like its pick n' mix. Look at what happened to Christianity...
I disagrees with you sister . If an women took her hijab off you should help her not unfollow it showes her that u never cared in the first place . I took my hijab off and people still talk to me .
@@zzzzzz2129 but you only follow influencers you're interested in. If you aren't interested in someone anymore it is your right. You have the right to decide what you take in. Nobody gets to force their lifestyle on you. We are not obliged to be loyal fans and give views to people who promote leaving islamic things through their flaunting of such on a public stage. I'm not talking about your friend or a colleague who takes their hijab off.. you should not ignore or be horrible to them. I disagree with getting angry or harassing these influencers online but if you don't like what they're bringing you have every right to unfollow
@@Novemberheart92 yeah u can unfollow if you want, tho i dont see the point of making a video about unfollowing people specifically if they stop wearing hijab, unfollowing is not a big deal @"flaunting of such on a public stage" i think its judgmental how you label it as flaunting, ppl are just living their lives
@@zzzzzz2129 influencers literally are flaunting themselves. That is generally what they do and their livelihood. And they influence people... which is why they're called influencers. Talking about the hijab issue might be because big name female muslim influencers have taken off their hijabs or maybe she was noticing a trend with who she followed. You'll have to ask her
I always tell my moslem sisters that iman and hijab is a gift from Allah!!When you are on the right path be grateful but don’t judge because you never know which situation Allah can test you with…!!soon or later..May Allah guide us all
I agree with you sister. I too unfollow. I dont need that negative influence in my life. I rather look at sisters who will support my life values and imaan
I admire your courage in talking about this topic. May Allah reward you and keep you strong in faith. I also just simply follow people I don’t align with and especially those who remove hijab. It’s just not going to help me keep strong on my hijab journey.
I am reverting. As a muslim woman who grew up in a Christian-majority community without covering my hair, I am mustering up the courage to wear hijab since I now live in a place with majority of women wear hijab. I felt like I was astray for too long and once I would wear hijab, I can finally start going the straight path. Inshallah.
İ totally disagree with u...I took off my hijab yesterday... I've worn the hijab for 10 years... And to tell me "At the end of the day will Allah punish me for what i did? , r u proud of what you did?"... Dear if u think Allah is gonna punish me for taking off the hijab than u gotta review ur religion values cause God is waaaayyyyy more deeper than that girl ... The hijab is not mandatory in Islam it is good for you if you wear it but it's not mandatory... To wear modestly is what ALL religions imply on women AND men ... And for you to unfollow someone because they took a decision to take off the hijab is very sad to me because girl if u r influenced by that person than you aren't even convinced of the hijab deep heartedly... Because if u wear the hijab and love it than u do not let anyone influence u because the hijab is not JUST a piece of clothe , the hijab is POWER and values too ... So giving urself the power to be influenced by someone else, I'm sorry girl but u ain't strong enough to wear the hijab whole heartedly like you should... And it's a pity u think that way, because i wouldn't unfollow a person wearing the hijab when I'm not, just because I'm afraid she'll influence me to wear the hijab... U got the power to decide who influences u and how they influence u ,and to "idolize" someone is utter bull*hit honestly because everyone's got flaws and everyone has their own opinion just because u have a different opinion of mine doesn't mean i can't follow u on Instagram or be friends with u in life ... U out of all people should know how to be accepting and open minded of others people's decision, and not unfollow them because of how they look under the excuse of "they're influencing me" ... Dear that ain't no excuse...
This video!!!!👏👏 you talked about this topic so respectfully and beautifully. I do the same thing and honestly I don't see alot if negative comments under posts when girls take their hijabs off I always see the typical omg congrats on taking it off u look so beautiful now 🤦🏽♀️ and wallah like it makes me feel like wow really? And it's always muslim girls that say it. May Allah swt guide us
I am Cristhian and my best friend Rastafarian and she covers her hair only her husband can see it now I am being strongly told by God to cover my hair I know it is time is been in my mind for 3 years! I just bought 3 hijabs.
Yes I do the same nor do I have friends with Muslims who don't wear hijab or dress modesty. How can you really believe in Islam or Allah without covering your body or hair.
So true! It is exactly what i do too. Keeping it peaceful for them and me. It is their journey and i have to look at myself first before starting to publicly judge them. I ain’t perfect either. May God enlighten the right way to everybody. 🙏🏼
You are amazing Zahra, just amazing. You have really addressed the elephant in the room.. thankyou so much. This was really inspiring and got us all thinking about ourselves and the things that impact us without us even knowing.
Asalamualaykum. Masha Allah laquette lebillah, you spoke well and expressed yourself very well and I appreciate your honesty as well as your kindness with this subject. May Allah keep you guided and grant you strength as well as honesty, ameen. 🙏🤲😇🧕
If wearing a hijab was really a womans "personal" choice muslims wouldnt get so mad about them taking it off. Why do you "unfollow" or cancel them. You sure its a personal choice?
What if you only followed them in the first place because their values were like yours (you assumed)? When you find out it's a lie of course you'd unfollow.
@@Novemberheart92 honestly you really have to pedistalize them in order to unfollow or unsubscribe just for that reason. Theres so many people we encounter who contradict what we would choose for ourselves and loved ones, but we dont excommunicate them. So whys it that when it comes to the hijab people want to leave a sister completely? Does that help the sister come close to Islam? And if it ever did, did she do it for the crowd or God alone? Intentions matter. Even the marytr who does to show the PEOPLE he died in the cause of God, goes to hell.
Drinking is a personal choice. In the US, Americans will actively stop hanging out with you and try to pressure you into drinking with them again if you ever stop. You’re allowed to “unfriend” those people who are trying to bring you back into harms way with alcohol. I believe the hijab is similar.
@Jane Doe it's really not toxic. all Muslim women SHOULD cover their hair whether they like it or not, yet they still have free will to decide whether they WANT to or not.
don't think you need to choose sides, you can wear it if you want, or you don't have to wear while still respecting the culture. Just like Christians can modernize and respect gays and homosexuals without needing to follow their religion word for word.
All I gotta say is amenakin since taking her hijab off is like everyone else now and nothing special and her ratings are going down. I use to watch her before as I really looked up to her as a non hijabi but unsubscribed as I felt that it was all a farce to sell her scarves 😳

May Allah bless you with Islam

We really need more people like you. This issue has become a norm to many people and it’s truly frightening how our kids can easily get triggered by this. Thank you for speaking about it.
I agree. The reality is the more time passes, the more wrong things become normalized in our society. Not necessarily on the topic of hijab, but just many things. I feel like this generation of kids will end up suffering immensely if we don't know how to juggle deen and dunya in a way that suits them. May Allah(swt) be with us ❤️

Instead of influencers who ignore, block (unless for mental health of course ) and blow up on people who care about them.

We all know the social media is not 100% real already
Edit.. adding this:
I think we should stop putting so much pressure on hijabis. I know somehow they represent Islam but they are humans as well. Again look for Islamic advice to your local masjid or kuran
I agree with you.
We should follow Quran not influencers as they might not always be right and perfect but islam is
I agree with you.
I feel this way also. Perfectly said and exactly how I feel.

Pray that she doesn't fall into hypocrisy instead of going against her rightful opinion
I agree
The judgment in this video shows that hijab isn’t a choice in Islam. 😬
Modesty isn't a choice
It really isn’t, when Allah commands something, we hear and we obey.
Someone's journey is between them and God, not anyone else's business. So it is also not right with God for us to judge and disfellowship someone who takes a different journey IMO. I totally respect the concept of following people that make you feel good and align with your values and ideas. Thanks for sharing, dear.

What's the point wearing it when you are completely consumed by vanity anyway?
i feel like I’m listening to an older sister.
Ameen sister
If you’d like to try what worked for me… I only wore hijab at home for months before wearing it outside. It helped me feel comfortable with a new look and style in the safety of my own home, so when I left the home the headscarf became a safe haven even while out in public. 🥰
@@TheUnplannedLove thank you for your advice ❤️❤️
@@imansolo2394 may you be blessed with ease and comfort by Allah(swt) 🤲🏻
I’m a Christian woman. I respect Christianity and the Islamic faith and Muslims. I definitely appreciate this post. Well said.
Thank you for being so Vocal about that, as a hijabi in an Arab country i can proudly say that I don't even have an IG account despite being a full modest Hijabi, praying 5 times a day and fast regularly, but I don't entrust my demons to be exposed to all that temptations specially on IG, how girls are dressed and behave is contradictory to my belief system, and unfortunately we don't have so many influencers like you, who are TRUE modest hijabi, your video made me more comfortable in my own skin
Thank you so much for that
My warmest Salam from Egypt ❤️
refreshing topic.
True, well said 💯
I don’t wear the hijab but ur video reminded me of a influencer I was following who wore the hijab prior to becoming extremely popular on Instagram and then when she hit 900k followers she went from wearing hijab to the extreme where it wasn’t just removing the hijab it was wearing bikini, short skirt, short tops. I have nothing against anyone doing that but you said it perfectly when u said we need to be “humble”. Fame and fortune should not throw away your whole belief system.
But if hijabis don't want to be judged for wearing a hijab, why judge Muslim sisters and OSTRICIZE them just bc they don't practice Islam like you ?
@@MC-fw5vt I am not judging anyone and that’s unfortunate that’s what you took from my comment. All I am saying is that it’s hard to understand how one can go from one extreme to the next extreme. I don’t care how anyone practices Islam. I’m the last person to judge how anyone practices.
Ive never heard someone change like that. Who is it?
May Allah help anyone who struggles with this 💕
It sure wasn't.. thank you for sharing how you feel on my channel ❤️
I agree 100%
There is a difference between judging by having r your own ideas and making your own opinions with critical thinking (which is healthy)
and between bashing, belittling and humiliating someone who made a mistake. Also no one is entirely good or bas so just cuz someone made a mistake doesn't make them a bad person. At the same time this doesn't make the mistake ok. Wrong is wrong. We shouldn't normalize it
It is not okay for Muslim woman to decide how to wear hijab but it`s okay for you to wear make on with hijab ?
Mashallah sis ❤️ thank you for this video. Hijab is such a struggle especially for reverts like myself & Ive been thinking of taking it off sooo many times astaghfurallah but dua is so powerful. Again, thank you for this Jazakallah khair 🤲
I have been in your shoes before. I just shared a new video on my channel about my journey too. The struggle is real, but hamdellah we are all capable of making the best choices. Deen over Dunya always 🥺
@Balboa koops who told you this is a man made religion 😏
What do you do when you’re a revert and you’re following a non Muslim friend who you have no respect for anymore?
I think just unfollow and unfriend them I think it’s going to be hard but do it anyway your self respect is important
Modesty and make up don't go together either, your don't even need that
Yah she does that heavy make up and she doesn't realise how much fitna she imposes
Do you follow some non Muslims though? Then you would be a hypocrite
This Is just an example
People have the right to choose what they want in their feed, whom they want to influence their lives.
@@miskellaneousK Understood. Thank you
May Allah continue to guide you and protect you sis ❤ it really breaks my heart how hijab is not seen as Important anymore. I love hijab so much and it makes me happy it createa this warm in your heart and makes you feel at ease.
No you wrong.
Most of the time influencers remove Hijab because they did not believe in the first place, and was wearing it because of Islamic that demand women to wear a Hijab or get’s punishment.
A lot of people in the comments are like „you are so brave for speaking out like this“
I honestly think that it has nothing to do with braveness because what she was saying in this video was 1000%the truth and nothing but the truth and what every Muslim/Muslima should agree to without getting anyhow mad.
Why should we be getting any influence from influencers?
Because that's their job. They are a walking piece of an entire marketing scheme and if they didn't influence then there would be no purpose for their line of work whether that be for companies who recruit them or their own business.
It's just part of what they do and it can both be a negative, positive or everything in between experience for the people who follow them.
That's why we should practice self control when noticing things that could affect our moral compass. Nothing is wrong with finding inspiration from others, but always remind yourself how little it should impact you and your faith.
have you ever unfollowed someone because they said don't pray on struggling to fast ?
why that kind of pressures specifically in hijab ?
What wrong with someone not wearing a Hijab, I believe one is not defined by clothing
@@ZahraaBerro Totally agree❤️
Thank God for atleast one person who speaks sense, alot of these ppl out here are excusing everything with 'you cant judge them'. Yes we cant, but someone of influence who SINS publicly will be accountable for whomever they misguide with that action, and anything that harms our community and misleads our youth is our business. If u sin in private no one would care, but publicly showing it off like its something your proud of is against islamic ettiquette.
Hey, im curious if those girls upload some video and promote or encourage others to take off their hijab? What fo you mean by publicly showing it?
I dont know any of those girls. So, pls reply.
publicly showing mean in public doing it
I too unfollowed influencers who took off the hijab. I did that because when they removed the hijab they acted as if it’s a liberating thing and also got LOTS AND LOTS of support from foreign non Muslim influencers on the matter (when they shouldn’t have stuck their nose on the matter) and it pissed me off (it’s like they’re trying to say “see, this is what good looks like, that’s what gets us to applaud to you support you and recognize you here on this platform, in this secular world or western world or social media in General”
I unfollowed because i was interested in what they do/seeing some nice fashion ideas but mainly because they where hijabjs and somewhat relatable and made representation for us
But after the matter I realize how some of them where showing doubt in Islam and were sharing they’re questions and doubts in their stories, when they where struggling spiritually instead of turning to Allah and making dua and keeping it a secret they went and confided in social media the general public (which IMO isn’t the best place especially it being “social media” your not exalt gonna get the wisest people there or the scholars but young impressionable kids and a few adults who may or may not be swayed by this worldly life) and so they looked into their followers and got some perspective from them instead of Allah and Islam and Quran the holy book that guides us and teaches us through eras unto the future till the day of judgment
There’s a lesson for everyone in it
So there was of course actions and points that lead to them making that big unnecessary decision of taking off the hijab (if they lived somewhere in Europe or America, a place where there is more hate towards Islam/Islamaphobia crime and attacks against Muslims) then I’d totally understand, as Allah made the religion to make our life easier and don’t to make the religion a burden on us
So hence when being in a society where they view the headscarf very negativity to the point where it puts you in danger. Then you have the right to take it off and “blend in” not saying that you should go naked, no!
You can have your hair out but still dress modestly and not reveal your curves etc
And it should be fine
Modest and among the crowd blended so it sagas and you look part of the society and not stand out like a sore thumb
But if you choose to stick to the hijab despite the negative perceptive that expiry you live in has on it, then it’d be like jihad and Allah would reward you for hanging on to it and enduring the hardship
Either way it’s fine and your choice
But the influencers I unfollowed loved in Middle East Dubai like… why? The people don’t disrespect nor do they fight against you, so there is nothing stopping or making it hard for you to be hijabi there
That’s what Pisses me off because they choose to trade diamonds (the hereafter) with stones(this Dunya) and share it shamefully to the world as if it’s something to be proud of. Ya lateef may Allah protect us from such conditions and ideas
So I don’t to be part of what they’re doing and I don’t encourage the image and messes they’re combating to young influential Muslim girls ( I was a teen when I witnessed my favorite influencers Muslims models taking off their hijab and it hurt me really, made me very disappointed)
But it’s between them and Allah in the end of the day and they’ll be accountable for what they have done and what kind of influence they had on people
It’s sad honestly
May Allah guid them may Allah guid us towards the straight path towards imaan taqwaa yarab
That’s All I got to say and may Allah ease our troubles and hardships
If wearing hijab is liberating according to you then why removing it can't be?
What joke mentality you have 😂
@@foreverrocks7989 you know what else is a joke? You. Get off this page if you are going to bash hijabis and saying we are "oppressed". Get a life, saddo

Hijab is not a choice
Much needed advice! This was amazing. ❤
Thank you Fathima 💞
The thing is, sharing feelings even in a positive way, or giving sincere advice is seen negative by some of these influencers. It’s sad. One time I private messaged an Influencer that I really loved and respected. I gave her some sincere advice in the most respectful way possible. I’ve never done that before but I really admired this one influencer, so I decided to give her some advice. But, all she did was block me and it really upset me. It’s sad that we can’t even give advice these days. Like you said best thing to do is just unfollow.
True, it can happen. Im sorry that happened to you 🥺
Maybe she heard advice from every side and felt hurt by people telling and advising her how to live.

Ty❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

May Allah bless and reward you for having the courage to speak your mind in a beautiful way 💕
This is my first time on your channel and I apperciate your opinions.
Women are far more good looking with hijab anyway.
Thanks.
That's what I was thinking. At the end of the day if they are still a good person then it shouldn't matter if they choose not to wear a hijab or not.
i agree
brother whats the point even in practicing if you half way in it like its no bodies business this sense of individualistic lifestyle is insane try to live in the forest where no ones around
The last thing you want is to have someone on your radar that challenges your values.
I disagrees with you sister . If an women took her hijab off you should help her not unfollow it showes her that u never cared in the first place . I took my hijab off and people still talk to me .
This is about influencers. Not normal people you know.
@@Novemberheart92 yeah but influencers are still normal people
@@zzzzzz2129 but you only follow influencers you're interested in.
@@Novemberheart92 yeah u can unfollow if you want, tho i dont see the point of making a video about unfollowing people specifically if they stop wearing hijab, unfollowing is not a big deal
@"flaunting of such on a public stage" i think its judgmental how you label it as flaunting, ppl are just living their lives
Only God can judge me as Tupac would say; I’m hijabi but maybe a non-hijabi has more faith or better deeds than me.
Yes I do the same nor do I have friends with Muslims who don't wear hijab or dress modesty. How can you really believe in Islam or Allah without covering your body or hair.
Everyone can choose their own circle of friends. Whats important is that you choose those that best suit you and your journey 😉💖
So true! It is exactly what i do too. Keeping it peaceful for them and me. It is their journey and i have to look at myself first before starting to publicly judge them. I ain’t perfect either. May God enlighten the right way to everybody. 🙏🏼
but you have face full make up ?
@@bintbint1316 because when you find out they're not what you thought perhaps you're not interested in their content anymore.
