@Michaelle Mcgill ...when we read, we must read with understanding. She didn't say I was the first haitian that know how to cook. She said I am the first one SHE has noticed on RUclips that did it right. Yes there is many ways to cook the same dish. When I read her comment, what I understood was, she was relating to my style of cooking. Maybe this is how she saw it being made growing up. She's entitled to her opinion! Thanks for watching my video!

Hello Annette... I wanted to leave a comment letting you know I made bouillon for the very first time using your recipe last week. I went to visit my younger sister and brought her some. She took it too work and shared some with her professor. Her professor, who is Puerto Rican, loved it so much that she was in Zoom Meeting... She turned off her camera to eat the soup. Her professor raved about the soup so much I had to make another one. I cooked it with chicken because my sister wanted also share some with one of her friends who do not eat red meat. Her professor told my sister, maybe an hour ago or so, the soup is amazing. Me any sister are Haitian American by the way... I'll let you know what her friends think. They haven't tried it. I am literally waiting to hear hear their reaction. Thank you so much for this recipe. I grew up watching my mom cooking but there are so many steps in Haitian cooking it's hard to remember them all. I will be watching and trying out more of your recipe. Thanks so much for sharing 🥰.

@@dorannette26 Just want to follow up on my last message.. My sister friend, about 22 or 23, told me they killed it. Her professor took her share home but told my sister she's not sharing with her kid and husband. She was like the bouillon is so good. So in short the bouillon was a success!
      Thanks again :)

Dominique Andrews .. the beauty of this dish is you can use any vegetables you like. I added boniato which is a white sweet potato, yellow yam, potatoes, malanga, plantain, watercress spinach, carrot and don't forget the dumpling

Thanks for the tutorial! That's a lot of ingredients for a "simple" dish but it looks delicious! I thought Bouillon was French for Broth.

Evy Kun ...thanks,... yes Bouillon is French for broth. The French colonized Haiti in 1697. January 01, 1803 we gained are independence.

Evy Kun it's more like a stew. We call it bouillon because we put everything together in there. The word soup is used when we referring to broth.
