The cross flow heat exchanger (in video) is relatively inefficient compared to a counter flow heat exchanger which can achieve 95% i.e. 0 C outside 20 C inside, stale air leaves at 1 C in coming air 19 C. The SOLCER house built in 2015 by Cardiff University has heat pump coils in these last 2 air flows and a third coil in the hot water cylinder.

Actually there are 2 fans. One is on the supply air and other is on the exhaust air.
The device even has heat recovery. You also save a lot of money.

How does it heat the home in winter if the air inside is already cold. You're just replacing cold fresh air with cold air in the house. All the while it's running full time, driving up your electricity bill.

This is a BS. This thing is just going to rase the price on the houses, already crazy high prices.
