    Correction please,50x25 is 1250 and not 1270 which you specified.

    25×50=1250

    For finding A zone and B zone in coloumn only two floor beams are considered,is not lintel tie beam required to considered?

    What if lapping length exceed lapping zone how would you deal with it ? Let say Hn is 3.3m and diamater of rebar 20mm then Lapping length is 1m and lapping zone is only 1.65m but rebars should be 0.3*lapping length apart with each other

    Clear Height between plinth beam top and roof beam bottom-11 feets
    Zone-A-11/4=33 inches
    Zone-B-11*12-66=132 -66=66 inches
    There are 6 bars 16mm@4,12mm@2
    At zone B top- 2 no of lappings
    At zone B middle(30 inch below top lapping points)-3 no of lapping
    At Zone B bottom (30 inch below middle lap point)-1 lapping
    Whether the above arrangement is allowble?
    Whether lintel tie beam can be provided any zone?
    What if lintel tie beam falls on zone-A top area?

      guys i gat some real question i need to get only clear 25cm over my ready made columen reinforcement wichnos 14mm diameter having 6 bars 20x30 mm dimesion . so should i use 1.3 factor when making the overlapment?

    Assalaam Alleikum brother, i need your help i have build a foundation of 3 store building, the problems are some of the steel bar exposed from the foundation beam are shorter than what is required are shorter than 50cm the steel sizes are 16mm, the formula of lapping 45d gives 72cm and some exposed bar are less than 50cm, how can i solve this problem.. Thank you

    some times you said the formula is 24d and sometimes 50d which is the right one. the same thing to beam L by 8 and L by 4. very confusing
