He's such a great guitarist! In a very understated way tho. Precise, tight, expressive playing--his right hand technique is very skillful. This band is one of the greats!
Bass lines and drums kick ass too. Very creative!
Magic Birdsong Workshop for me it’s a bit iffy on the bass. seems like it could be turned up a bit on some some songs. volcano sounds pretty great but songs like bagel breath and ugly brunette need a bit more for my taste.
I met the singer after one of their shows. really chill guy. This was my first time hearing them and I was really amazed how great they sounded.

Sure, the music was superb but I think what really draws me to this band is the level of mystery radiating from them and especially the lead singer. Overall, they seem really shy and I feel compelled to know more!

Dude the magic of Volcano is all in the bass
I’ve been a big fan of these guys a long time but only recently stumbled upon this for some reason. WOW! There’s not many bands that can reproduce live how it sounds on record. The band members are super tight and every note is perfect. Im normally a bit disappointed when seeing live staged recordings but this is impressive!

hes on facebook, you could ask him. I've met him before, he's super friendly. I asked him what tunings he uses and he told me all about it. mostly open D.
a classic player jazzmaster (kinda cheap), the distorted stuff is an OCD, he also uses an EHX POG, a boss looper, a boss space echo and some other thing I think an EHX memory boy

fair, but it does have its own sort of sophistication in its own style of slowcore and it can raise hairs pretty damn good too
