Given the amount of change I think it's fair to compare the song itself (as opposed to pitting artists against each other) bearing in mind one is a solid draft, one is the final product - the chorus sounds great with either of them singing it but I think Ariana's input with the lyrics elevated it to the next level.. and it would be interesting to see what Camila could do to the Ariana version because I bet that could inspire some new ideas.. Some parts of Camila's made a nice change but I think its actually a complement to Camila's artistry to agree this wasn't 100% there.

The one we hear with Ariana has additional songwriting by legends like max martin and additional production. It’s ideally not the same beat and Ari tone is higher and the bpm is faster adding to the energy. Also there’s a trap beat on the verse for Ari version. So we’re comparing two different songs if we wanna be truthful. Same chorus but keep in mind the legend max martin is particular when it comes to vocal cuts. We’re talking about the guy who wrote/produced/cut vocals for most of the biggest pop songs ever in the last 30 years.
