I made this song a long time ago and I forgot about it, I posted here as a joke. I haven't made any french house or anything really in a long time but like 10ish years ago I used to be into french house a lot, and Daft Punk were my main influences for sure. I never got financially successful through music but I met a lot of great people, had some great gigs and music changed my life, so I think I was successful in that way. I still make music, but I haven't released anything in years. My artist name at the time was Kamei, which is also my last name. I feel like I will release new music but probably not under the same name, since I released a lot of weird stuff under that one as well. I completely forgot the e-mail that I used for this "Thebuffalopower" youtube account. The buffalo name came from "The Buffalo Bunch", one of Crydamoure's artists. ok bye. ps: also yeah I used the Chic sample, some vengeance house pack stuff and the spinal scratch sample, made on FL Studio on a windows computer that I no longer have.
@BrooklynFilmLover thomas bangalter is from Daft Punk yes he and Guy manuel de homem christo are Daft Punk , Thoma sings not realy ... not in every Track Daft Punk had made but he sings in : Digital Love , Something about us , Around the world , Technologic all from Daft punk =) i hope i have helped you sry for my english im german Love & Mind
Bangalter did not produce the soundtrack for the movie. He is the sound effects director which is clearly noted in movie's official trailer. Consequently, your claim that this is a Bangalter track is false. However, I do really enjoy the tune.
How I see it, the 909 is tuned just like T.D.R and the sample right after the scratch?, speaks volumes of Bangalter, but I don't see how anyone could just sample the scratchs exactly right, come the fuck on now? If it isn't Bangalter, someone needs to find this guy, and make him or her the next French house god. (Not mainstream tho)
@TheBuffalopower this is bull bangaltr was like the sound effects director or something like that he stated specifically in an interview he did not make any music for this movie so this is fake no matter what anyone says
This is definitely Bangalter. Kicks and hats have that same clarity and punch almost all of Trax on Da Rocks have. I mean c'mon the same sample from Spinal Scratch as well? It just screams Bangalter.
@samdaftpunk Ah, shut up. First of all, it's not even for certain that this is an official Thomas Bangalter track. If it is, where is the trustworthy original source? Secondly, even though this is a good song, the style is DEFINATELY not fit for Gasper Noe's material.. Never would this be appropriate for his dark and twisted movies. It's actually a GOOD thing that he's making such seemingly minisqule film corrections (if they even ARE lgeit) in order to build cinematic immersion.
Oh come on.... This is obviously not by Thomas in any way. Why would he, first of all, Reuse the same scratch sound as he used in Spinal Scratch? Second, he samples Chic in such an unoriginal fashion that I can even tell by that that it's fake. Third, That beat nothing like he ACTUALLY creates. Fake Fake Fake.

bro, if you did this, thomas should be proud
you done a really great job with this track 😎🤙 tell us, if you will have released new stuff
Didn't you sample from On Da Flo Yo by Phat and Small as well?
@Flapterp oh gotcha
If that's true, then you did great job in using these scratches. Well done! I'd wish to hear more of that after all these years of mistery though...
Disco house+Thomas bangalter = VERY GOOD THINGS
Deborah Bader 👍👍
Quite literally, this song ROCKS! ;)
this song takes me back to the worst day in my entire life, absolute banger
Pure grooving bass... I love it!
This just sounds like the scratches from spinal beats mixed with a sample of another track.
Yo yo yo why this song is not on the billboard 100
I really loved it! AWESOME NEW TRACKKK
bangalter or not, this track is hot
this is teh sweetness
Lost but beautiful song
yeah!
if you are watching this on PC,turn the speed at 1.05 at custom
it is better
I can do this on mobile now
i realy like this!
Screw it whether it's real or fake. What's more important is we have a pretty good disco house track in hand. :D
The sample is from Chic - What About Me?.
yes
@BrooklynFilmLover thomas bangalter is from Daft Punk yes he and Guy manuel de homem christo are Daft Punk , Thoma sings not realy ... not in every Track Daft Punk had made but he sings in : Digital Love , Something about us , Around the world , Technologic all from Daft punk =) i hope i have helped you sry for my english im german

@HouseMuzica It isn't, it's just the same sample, 'Chic-what about me'. This track uses more samples from the orignal than Phats and Smalls track did.
the sample is. chic - what about me, taken from the album "risquè"
Nice(ish) bootleg but it's defo not by Bangalter. The hihats are so crappy (and they sound too clean) that Thomas wouldn't do that.
@scootermcgot, this isn't Daft punk, just Thomas Bangalter ;)
How I see it, the 909 is tuned just like T.D.R and the sample right after the scratch?, speaks volumes of Bangalter, but I don't see how anyone could just sample the scratchs exactly right, come the fuck on now?

The scratching effects are the same as in Bob Sinclair's Beat The Clock.
hes too coo
i think the scratching effect can be reproduced easily. it doesn't have to be a sample
You’re absolutely right
...did somebody find out, who is the creater of this awesome gem ?
@Aweshit did you have any link?
Actually the sample is in from Chic - What About Me. (Fafa Monteco's song sampled Chic as well.
Here's the sample
/watch?v=ZFEFs9_VuVE
@psychofish25 uhh listen to the track 'Spinal Scratch'. I think the title itself proves thee wrong in that assumption
Nice
@TheBuffalopower can you send me that 320 mp3
here is the sample, its "Phats and Small - On Da Flo Yo"
cool
somebody know the sunglasses's brand of thomas?
Same sample as Good Time by Fafa Monteco and So Lonely by Harry & Alex, 2 killer house tunes from year 2000
How can I get a copy?
Anyone know where the sample comes from?
Is it possible to get this track in HQ please ? You can mp me for email.
surely this can't be real? sounds very convincing though I'd like to know who it is by
Rock
Evreyone the sample is Chic what about me, not the scratch part tho
Can i have a copy please ?
download link anyone?
@TheBuffalopower this is bull
bangaltr was like the sound effects director or something like that
he stated specifically in an interview he did not make any music for this movie
so this is fake no matter what anyone says
@fagAshLil1234 yea you're right, but "On da flo yo" is clearly sampled from this song too.
Chic - What About Me
Is there any proof that this is an unreleased Roulé Musique track?
I loooooooooooove Thoooomaaas
I understand you completely. I love him too. ❤
"they rejected this song because it wasn't what the director was looking for"
please explain where you read this.
salty..

I would prefer more distortes drums just like tbang's even tho this is a great french house tune 🤘🤘
yeah sounds like it to me... his music is sexy alone, but its even sexier with Daft Punk
This is fake, but I still like it c:
Jo Kinglyish hey but I wouldn't be surprised if he did make something identical to this
Who did create this?
look at the video of him at bussy p birthday and you will see him scratch
This version is much better: Yella Finesse - Movin' On Up
where the fuck can i download this

this isnt bad but defintley fake. when have you ever heard daft punk reuse a sample of a song they did before?
Yes in alive 2007
@@lycanknight201 lol come on. Also I wrote that comment 7 years ago

ventura
Fake or not let pretend it was made by him, kay?
Let's not and prevent people from being misled, kay?
Thommy on da grooves, better half of daft punk ;)
Dang! Hardest music decision I can make is which 1/2 of DP is best! Ahhhh………… Screw it! I choose both! ;D
this would have been horrible in Enter The Void
whether its real or fake its a fucking hot track anyway!
@BrooklynFilmLover LOL
Lol. This wouldn't have worked in the movie at aaaaaaaallll.
@kylecheung11 chic what about me
FAAAAAAKE!!!
