- Take a look at the new teaser trailer for Legend of the White Dragon that debuted at San Diego Comic Con 2023. In the Aftermath, the city was left decimated. A past reminder of the great battle and fall of heroes. The heroes were blamed, stripped of their titles, and hunted.
Legend of the White Dragon stars Jason David Frank, Aaron Schoenke, Chalet Lizette Brannan, Mayling Ng, Mark Dacascos, Cerina Vincent, and more. Writers of Legend of the White Dragon are Alex Kellerman and Aaron Schoenke. Legend of the White Dragon is directed by Aaron Schoenke.
Legend of the White Dragon comes to theaters in 2024.

I thought this was a new power movie.
It was based on an idea for a Power Rangers spinoff that Jason David Frank pitched to producers but they rejected it, so he turned it into an original indie movie and spiritual successor to PR.
It's been described as a more mature take on the Power Ranger universe
Actually you're both wrong it's what the 2017s power rangers should have been but they strayed from it. This has no relation to mmpr universe

@@hazeydaze8396they pushed it back so they could undergo additional filming for scenes that Jason wanted to include in the original cut

It was already shot. Then they took time and waited and made sure the family was ok with it. And made sure enough time passed where it wasn't completely triggering for them.
The reason they pushed its release back was so they could put in some more scenes that jdf wanted in the original cut but yes the movie was done before jdf died and was supposed to release this year on labor day
