I do have a couple of questions though: 1. The first shampoo for the scalp - if I don't have a problem scalp, can I use the same moisturizing shampoo that I am using on my hair length? 2. Cleansing shampoo still needs to be used every 3-4 weeks and should replace both the shampoos - 1 and 2? 3. Can I use a hair detangling comb while I have conditioner on my hair, post shampoo? I currently finger detangle my hair in pre poo stage, but use a comb up detangle hair while I have my conditioner/DC on. I see a LOTTT of hair breaking out during this stage.
1- Yes, you can use one single shampoo if the requirements of your hair and scalp are same. 2- Cleansing shampoo OR clarifying shampoo can be used once in a while yes. Basically something for deeper clean and squeaky clean effect makes sure that we don’t get buildup from using hair oils, stylers etc. Buildup can happen on both scalp and hair - wherever we tend to use more products- so yes both need deep cleansing once in while 3. I think there was typo and I couldn’t understand this question exactly. But I’ll just mention that follow the detangling method thats the most gentle one. You shouldn’t have to force your hair to detangle else it will break - thats where slippery conditioner helps. Even if you detangle after oiling, do it only once hair feels slippery and soft and tangles melt with just a touch. You can use brush but again, in my experience with brush we cannot judge how prepared our hair is to be detangled. With fingers we can always judge if we need more product or water on certain area - hence the best way to detangle in my experience Whatever method we follow, if we force our hair to untangle, it will break and overtime get weak
Love the information given so clearly and the pace like ur teaching kids😂. Thanx for ur efforts. Pls share if we can use same tangle teezer brush for dry detangling too.
Aww thank you!♥️ I have to be intentionally super detailed because people do tend to complicate the process and that doesn’t go well 😅 I’ll be trying dry detangling today with tangle teezer brush. I dont dry detangle ever but will try it today and update with a SHORTS video here
Hello deepika! I have fine and thin density hair I watched your 'curl creams' video and decided to get the curl up curl defining cream and in this video you talked about curl up mousse Which one shall I get? This is gonna be my first curly hair product I would be grateful if you help me in choosing one among both❤
Hi, its good that you have filtered down to two products - thats the first step. But get either of the two depending upon how dry your hair is. If your hair needs the moisturising effect from cream or not. This is something only you can decide. If you are confused then let me tell you cream is simpler product hence easier to work with for a beginner but final call should be yours❤️
Hey can you review the sunflower salicylic acid anti dandruff hair serum। Currently I am using vrija anti dandruff hair serum for my seborrheic dermatitis
Hi Deepika just out of curiosity why does fine hair need deeper cleanising? I thought since its a lot thinner, you wont need that much cleansing for your strands - pls throw some light on this 😊😊
Hi Regina, fine hair just needs normal cleansing - neither too much nor too less. Basically its very thin and light on its own and because of that, it hold up much weight. Think of it as a delicate petal. Most gentle shampoos have conditioning agents in them so while they clean, they also deposit a conditioning layer over hair strands (just like conditioner and masks do). This extra layer adds weight to the strand AND THIS WAS JUST THE FIRST STEP! If we keep adding weight on thin hair strand in every step, it would definitely weigh down Hence the deeper cleansing COMPARED to coarse hair. Doesn’t mean stripping it dry. The shampoo I have suggested here has medium strength of cleansing - just the right amount.
Hey, thanks Deepika. I have fine curly hair and my hair is weighed down by Curlvana gel. Curlvana Leave-in alone is fine. Thinking of trying mousse. But my question is, my entire hair needs to be clarified every wash otherwise it feels greasy, because I use oil treatments. Haven't been able to find good clarifying shampoos that don't dry out my hair. Used dove dryness care and plum coconut and vanilla shampoo. Any suggestions?
Hi, if you have fine hair strands I dont think your routine and choice of products is right. Fine hair doesn’t need so much moisturisation. Currently you are overloading hair with greasy stuff and then using a very strong shampoo to remove that grease aka oil. Avoid oiling at all. Not needed so much for fine hair or use sparingly and very small quantities that too very light oils or else dont oil at all. Oiling to moisturise hair and then using very strong shampoos to remove the same - this is just making hair drier and drier. How is oiling helping your hair in this situation? Conditioners and leave-ins already have oils even shampoos have oils. Also strong hold gels like curlvana gel must be avoided by fine hair. I would suggest keep using the gentle shampoos that you are using but no oiling. Do watch this video again with complete voiceover. Do watch
@@desicurly Thanks so much for the reply. I use oils before showering for hair growth and because I have v dry hair. This week I'll try using no oil and update here for those who are curious.
For hair growth you can use hair growth serums instead - they are way more effective and non oily as well. Even for moisturising hair, applying oil and then washing with a strong shampoo is just counteractive. Very dry hair shouldn’t use clarifying shampoos frequently. So focus on non oily things that dont give you buildup
Hey its one of the best mousse out there. Just the right texture, right fragrance levels, no buildup or producty feel, not strong hold either. This is how mousse should be. A product will get negative reviews when consumers don’t know how to use a product and mousse is comparatively more complicated and newer than creams, gels etc. Hence the mixed reviews. Use it like I have suggested in this video and this one ⬇️ ruclips.net/video/VPSl4QQ_a8E/видео.html
my fine hair gets tangled whenever i do this step 3:23 i think it's because my hair sticks to my scalp a lot but i use clarifying shampoos once a week but i have to apply it like 5 times to get it to lather, what do you recommend?
Okay so few things: - dont use clarifying shampoos frequently. Use only if hair gets a lot of buildup that cant be removed by milder shampoos. Shampoos or basically any cleaner - their job is to remove dirt and grime including handwash, face wash right? So mild shampoo will also remove dirt and grime its just the clarifying shampoo will not be moisturising and squeaky clean hair tangles a lot! So no clarifying shampoo until absolutely required - apply a moisturising styling product because they usually add slip to hair and so its easier to style hair and tangles less. - before applying stylers, once again detangle with brush so all tiny knots remove. - use a good styling brush that also detangles while styling. I know fine hair tangles A LOT thats why I recommended this particular brush for fine hair
Hi Deepika, i have a wavy hair, I just started a curly girl method , but while applying leave in conditioner I am loosing a lot of hair even though I am taking shower in between 2-3 days , and i am also detangling before hair wash, This hair loss is really scary i may leave this method, can you pls suggest anything
Hi Sunanda, during application of leave-in or any other stylers, we do lose quite some hair. If you watch my other videos you will find I have often shown the hair shedding as well. It’s completely normal. Also check my brush later in this video that also has some hair on it because while styling I keep shedding and they get stuck to the brush as normally it would. During detangling as well I lose crazy amount of hair and I try to remove as many shedding as hair as possible during this step so fewer comes out later on. So technically the hair that has already shed and has left the root or is about to come out even if you dont apply leave-in conditioner. It will come out later on during the day if you touch your hair or collectively come off when you wash next time. Right? What i am trying to tell you is that leave-in conditioner isnt causing it. Its not even applied on scalp so it cant even remotely impact the hair shedding. If you are being gentle while application then its not a problem but the process is never ‘hair shedding free’ If you still feel you are losing tons of hair and you are noticing difference in your density then you should consider seeing a dermatologist to find the cause of the excessive shedding.
Hey its difficult to find dupe of good brushes in terms of strength. There is alldoer brush that looks the same but I am not sure if they use the same two tier bristle design and if the built is as good as tangle teezer. Thats why I mentioned in the video that brushes are something one must buy of good quality. If bristles of cheaper one break then new one will have to be bought and in no way that is going to still cost less. It might be a good quality one I am not sure but just a caution
Hi I have thin curly hair. I have tried CG method yet my hairs remain so dry😢 what to do???????? Extremely dry… I have tried different shampoos gels and creams as well…. Please suggest something
No method can ensure dryness is in check honestly, not even cg method. Cg method just says dont use sulphates and silicones and other such ingredients (which doesnt make sense at all). If you have wavy or curly hair then use products according to your scalp and hair type (like I suggested in this video), never skip styling products, apply a leave-in conditioner every-time, sleep on satin pillow cover, follow the dos and donts explained in this video
If it still doesnt work then probably your hair is quite damaged from previous hair habits (just a probability). Check my recent long video on bond repairing treatments thats going to definitely help
You have to use a slippery conditioner to minimize breakage while detangling, it is important to detangle when hair is slippery. Watch my videos on how to detangle safely
But Madam conditioner doesn't agree on my hair. I loose lots of hair while conditioning. Ok please tell me which conditioner I can use? I have curlup product ,& fix me products

Frizzy hone se hairfall nahi hota kabhi bhi. Humare roz kareeb 100 baal nikalte hain to Thursday ko ek sath sunday, monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday ke baal niklenge to zada lagenge dekhne me. Isse koi darne wali baat nahi hai Aur wavy and curly hair har din thoda thoda frizzy hote jate hain to Thursday tak frizzy hona normal hai. Vaise bhi hume 4th ya max 5th day tak wash karlena chahie. Hafte me ek bar wash and care karna na balo ke lie sahi hai na scalp ke lie
Is 2 shampoo necessary if no then what should I use i mean i have fine wavy hair And hair porosity seriously doesn't matter i have low porosity hair it's really nothing i mean bro Im confused asf😅😅😅
2 shampoos are necessary when your scalp and hair is contrastingly different. Oily scalp with dry hair cannot use one shampoo for both concerns. Right? Dont get confused by seeing trends around internet - go by logic you will never be confused Low porosity hair is healthy hair and thats not an issue to fix. Right? The reason your hair feels weighed down etc is because its fine and not because its low porosity
@desicurly yes I agree with you but my scalp and hair both are dry so now what should I use??? And yes when I applied light weight oil my hair get weighed down and if I don't apply then it get's frizzy so can you please tell me what shampoo, conditioner etc I should use I understand few things while watching your video but still yk👉👈
I would recommend skipping oil and instead focusing on cleansing, conditioning and styling products. All these products categories also have oils and fats but just enough to moisturise and not weigh down hair and since they are with other ingredients we get more than just oil benefits. Watch the video once again and listen to everything again. Every product is chosen for a reason in this video. Follow the fine hair routine instead of your current routine. If something is not working let it go instead of trying to fix it. The routine is probably not for your hair
