Weird is, Macaque never fell for Wukong's provocation, never went on a blind rage but he could make Wukong go to rage mode instantly. He knows him THAT much

Although he does regain his composure perfectly fine in the space of like two seconds, grinning while pinning wukong down.
he just did lol, in that airship one where swk calls him ''sidekick kind of vibe'' except he didn't make himself visibly angry about it, just went for it and pinned him in the floor
He actually hit Macaque sort off in his scarred eye. The fact Macaque is voiced by Billy Kametz makes me laugh because when I found out, I only had one thing to say. "You wanted Naofumi to be a bad guy? He's now a bad guy." And now I have love/hate feelings for the guy, just like Baron Zemo.
Funny thing is at the end of S3 ep 1 "On the Run" Wu-Kong even said that he isn't really a bad guy. He probably knows he is very wrong for how he treated him.
This is a theory, but I believe that the rift between Wukong and Macaque maybe do to some sort of misunderstanding. Cause Wukong seems to act like he never killed Macaque at all and just assumes that he’s just being trolled by Macaque. Perhaps someone manipulated the two into thinking one betrayed the other for a more sinister purpose.
