And, most importantly, a perfect starting point to learn the game deeper!
@@bluemoy most of the time people want to spend the least effort and research possible to play this game, understandably so. but playing an incomplete deck is just a bad decision imo, people are still gonna side deck against you even if your meta deck is incomplete
Exactly, I'll never get it. It reminds me about the time when Sky Striker was reprinted, it costed roughly 40€ and the non engines where insanely cheap (Pankratops, There can be, Lancea etc) but noone would play it
Supay it’s such a good tool, I will feature soon some combos that I didn’t figure out when I made the combo videos! Also raises the number of starters when paired with Crimson and Vision
That’s exactly what I’ve been saying for ages! I play them only as effective interruption into the appropriate matchups, with the added benefits of being lv6’s
More i train, more i feel like our deck is a puzzle where we only need to put RedRising on board + a tuner in grave. I underestimate wildwind and supay package so much at the begining. Wildwind + crimson are so great to start and bait without normal summoning
Wildwind is still a crucial one of, and Supay a key part of our stronger boards (I have new ones to feature!) But how realistic is to open with Crimson+Wildwind+a standard play, especially if we play both as a 1-of? And I wouldn’t play more of them cause they don’t improve our Soul lines (unless paired with other cards)and also will cut some non-engines. It’s so hard to make space for everything!
@@bluemoy for my deck build i run 3 wandering king 1 Sakitama. To replace the Supay,DuskWalker engine but both have hard pros an cons tho. If I play against a combo deck, or in general a deck that threatens OTK’s on turn 3, I side out Red Zone cause, as much as I love it, it’s still a trap card and I don’t want to open with it going 2nd. We are capable of making interruptions with the engine via extra deck monsters, so if we’re able to play we have still ways to deal with their followup. However, we don’t have that many pushes going 2nd, so I try to have as many live cards as possible. Lately I’m trying to keep Uvualoop, cause it came up in a very specific scenario in wich I was able to otk thanks to it, but it’s probably incorrect cause it doesn’t really help to establish any immediate threat
So Moy from our discussion yesterday ive been thinking about the DuskWalker package an i did theory craft sumthin consistent but extremely costly, so i was thinking DuskWalker package With Void Apocalypse, the synergy would be crazy but its gonna come out a cost of 2 discards. I think it needs to be play tested to see if its worth
On the duel 9:45 why didn't you get Crimson Resonator with Soul Resonator. Foolish Burial on Bone Archfiend so discarding Crimson. So your endboard would be RDA Abyss, Dis Pater, Scarr RDA and RDA Bane. With still having Crimson Gaia on the board and with an named RDA. I find it also a bit weird that so many RDA players like to send Crimson Gaia to the grave. Against meta decks like Snake Eye's, Unchained,... it gives us so much protection/recursion. As always good video and its really nice to see you are putting in the work for these video's!
I didn’t add Crimson for the usual reason of not giving away information, also sending Bone to the gy with Foolish plays heavy into a Bystial withouth gain nothing, cause saving follish we will still be able to access both Crimson and uvualoop in gy. I usually never send Gaia unless I’m forced, this time I did it cause I had another copy, and since I was able to end with Scarred on the Board I had guaranteed floating. Bane wouldn’t have accomplished nothing since it’s just a big Yellow monster, and I never waste the lv10’s on turn 0 cause having the option to resolve Scarred it’s key to otk
I’m completely against Crossout, the deck can play wonderfully through handtraps if you practice all the lines (unless you open with just Soul but that applies even to Snake Eye Ash), and crossout is just a bad card going 2nd. Also, we’re able to make strong boards but they’re not completely autowin, so it’s way better to end on smaller boards paired with handtraps, wich also increase our chances going 2nd
Imo, crossout Can be considered as engine part because : We only have 1-2 possible lines in our starting hand because we depend of our normal summon. We Always NS Bone or soul. If our opponent has 1 to 2 HTs. Crossout become like a third line of play if you get HT. This is just to clear my Idea, didn't practice anything
@user-zt9oj4ze8w ohh i see tbh i think its probably ok but id just wait til flame crime comes out bc hes the same but can send red reign to the gy and get that in rotation
I never actually tried it, I probably missread it back then cause I was sure it locked on summon. I’d say that it might be decent to go into hot Red if soul gets stopped (without requiring anything else), but I’d need to see if it has applications into extended combo lines. One relevant thing about the deck is that if you get stopped on notable points (bone/red Rising) we need both a tuner and a non tuner in order to extend, and none of those special summon-only monsters have this ability
What Do u think it's more important to have on ur board, boardwipes or negates/pops? And do u think that the centurion support is gonna make it a viable engine for rda?
I value more to have layered form of interruptions, and in that regard the usual DisPater+HotRed+Scarred/RDA+RedZone is huge cause it doesn't expose to board breakers, provides a lot of followup, doesn't revolve around a specific card etc. I never summon Supernova if I can't summon Hot-Red, and even just the 2 of them is not ideal, unless you're against really hard matchups like Unchained or Tear. The "optimal" board involves at least Supernova,HotRed,RDA and the trap, and in that case you keep Hot Red only for Talents or cards like that. About Centurion: we'll see, I'm not focused on them yet
