I've owned a Optishot for about 3 years. Love it and great info. Open/Close face, distance etc. I've even tested it against Trackman and others. Really great graphics etc. Distance is accurate within 2-3 yards compared to Trackman or CGI. You can also play against people all over the world.
We installed the Optishot in my friends garage over a year ago to play during the amazing winter months here in Canada. Installed powered rollup screen and surround. Works great ! There are better systems out there but, for the price you can beat being able to play year round ! Cheers Mates , stay safe and hope to get back out on the course soon !
Optishot 2.... Use it at home..... I'm not a brill player (16 at present) but am really enjoying this sim'. Although it isn't a top flight simulator,it ticks the boxes for me hands down. Great for practice at this particular time when everything is closed down! The putting takes a bit of getting used to, but like your full swing on this thing it works on all aspects of your game. Just make sure that if you get one, check the height your of your ceiling! OOOH and Liam... check out the Optishot web page.. I think you can download a course called 'Sweet Magnolia', a copy of Augusta which is available only during what is Masters week.. Enjoy.
I absolutely love the raw video of family life at Liam's. It's so authentic unlike other channels. This is why I like this channel! First thing that came to mind for a name of the setup was "Backlot Golf" Keep up the great creativity while stuck at home.
Owned one of those for 5 yrs now. Very good tool to improve and practise all winter ( almost 5 months w/snow = no golf) here in Canada. Since Covid Isolated, 100 balls per day plus a complete 18 holes. Always using a 64 deg wedge and the computer corrects for any other club. I never use a ball since I am swinging in my living room. It does the job just the same. You can also open an account ''pier o pier', and play with other Opti shot owners in the world. I am sure you will have f a lot of fun and soon many golf buddies over to your place. Your wife will require patience ! LOL
We have been using this set up for several years. WE use the Spornia golf net that sets up in under a minute. The projector I bought was less than $100.00 and the Optishot was under $300.00. I built a stance mat with a Gorilla turf for my Optishot! We play year round and it is currently set up in my living room. It's not the high tech simulator that costs thousands of dollars, but it's a lot of fun, once you dial in your clubs. Putting takes some practice and we use an old style shiny stainless steel putter that picks up the stroke nicely.

I had a set up like that 15 years ago from Golf Simulators of America. I used it as a portable set up and had it at events, corporate days, birthdays among others. I took it to hotels and shows. The best place I took it was to the Quatar Masters in Doha the year Thomas Bjor n won it which was good because I was sponsored by Maersk Drilling and Production. You will really enjoy it and become addicted

Probably neighbours that got annoyed by the noise of the ball hitting the impact screen. No joke, my neighbour shouted at me, because of that and called the police. Police told him, that it's not their duty. I have to say, that my neighbour is a twit and is getting upset about evrery noise we make. I am pretty much ignoring him for a long time because of that. So we keep on hitting balls.
A few mates and I chipped in and bought the whole set up with opti shot and love it! We play in the winter in the garage. As for the name of your new course. I like the "Wicked Googlie." Cheers and keep up the good work. 😀

You need light on the Optishot unit. The unit uses sensors to see how quickly your club comes in and at what angle, the less light, the less accurate it'll be. Good vid man, keep it up!
You also can use a 60'' TV and play without a ball, it works just fine. I use my computer screen in my living room. I always use a wedge, and the computer software will compensate the speed. Works great and fun to use as it is usefull to improve one's game.
It will be Liam's golf simulator for a few days before his Mrs. takes it over and has it be their nightly outdoor movie theater. 😆 Either way love it whether it is for golf or movies. Cheers🍺 to good health and to keep it that way.

When i push that play button i never know what I'm about to watch, a bit of everyday life at Liam's madhouse a bit of golf a bit of comedy it's just so watchable each and every video, your wife is a saint. I like Ladder Falls but the great designers, like you Liam and Donald Ross, numbered many on their designs. Since Pinehurst Number 2 is taken just go with Ladder Falls #1. Seriously.... A very nice setup.
