I like that he said you don't have to "show" you're a Muslim everywhere because that will put people off. But instead be natural without feeling the need to lie about why you may not do some things or do other things differently.
A bit misinterpretation there,
he said, either you “tell” them straight up that you’re Muslim or (considering his level of life) make a logical point and move on.
“Telling” everyone that you’re Muslim for doing things differently is not the only option.
You used the word “show” , you have to “tell” before you show something (that might not be in someone’s knowledge).
I chose not to drink alcohol from the age of 25 because I liked the person I was sober better. I didn't get angry with alcohol like some people tho. I also will try a wine to see if I like it but no more than a mouthful. I don't think you need to explain why you don't drink alcohol just say no thanks
