Sekinchan is famous for its vast land of paddy fields, and is one of the major rice producers in Malaysia. It is also a beach-side fishing village and is famous for its fresh seafood.
It is said that the best time to visit the place is on March, April, September and October when the weather is fine and the fields are lush.
