So, Genesis 9. The 9th Genesis. It will probably be the biggest tournament of the year. This tournament is like the super bowl for Smash Bros, with all of the sweat but none of the athletics. And I did pretty good.
Funnily enough, if you tuned into my stream the week leading up when I was practicing, you probably saw me acting like a complete baby. I was not thrilled about how I was playing- disgusted even, by how unprepared I felt.
But by the grace of god or, you know, The Crimson Blur’s words of wisdom, something clicked a few days before and it boosted my confidence.
This is the story of how I almost won Genesis 9.
