    One thing i really like with your videos is that you always give players their flowers while also being very modest with their flaws. And honestly as good as Jayson is, he's just a really good player surrounded by talent that can compliment him, he's kind of like his predecessor Paul Pierce mixed with a little of T Mac too

    • @Mitch_Feral

    • @Mitch_Feral
      @Mitch_Feral 2 месяца назад

      @@braedensteele3184 I mean, I certainly agree with that - but it's easier to make All-NBA teams when you are drafted onto a great team, and have never once played on a bad one.
      Can you imagine Pierce taking all the shots that Tatum has missed when it counted? That's a lot of rings.

    My favorite part of Bostons defense is when teams relentlessly try to attack Hauser. 10-15 seconds wasted in the possession to get the switch they want only to realize Sam can slide his feet pretty well and it’s not a mismatch like they thought

    I dont know if it would do numbers, but I'd love for you to break down Al Horford's defense. I think he's about as complete a 4-5 hybrid defender as I have ever watched. Great strength, incredibly fast to elevate, and needs no time to reset to go back up, rarely fouls anyone unintentionally, and he's a complete menace off the ball, bc his positioning and activity means he is always available to help, doubles out of nowhere, and shows up in the passing lanes. A guy who started good, and has genuinely improved his game every single year of his long career.

      @@RoyHibbertYTIt really is, I’ve been especially impressed with Jaylen’s defense late in this season. He was a pest all year but the way he has been making opposing players uncomfortable in iso for the last couple months is something special, being so relentless on the ball. It’s like the speed/hands of jrue holiday but also leveraging his length and weight in ways that an average sized guard can’t. It just looks brutal to go up against. He really should get an all defensive-I hope lazy narratives don’t get in the way of that.

With the exception of Tatum the core is signed for a few years and even White I believe comes a year after him They had a good year but when they lose They lose ugly and some of the wins even are close after having this gnawing problem of giving up big leads. Got to steamroll thru this and if Denver, a team that has a good chance of coming out of the West, plays Boston, it will make for a very memorable Finals. Going to be awesome no doubt.

    I’d rather hear basketball from a former NBA All Star player than those supposed “pundits” on TV that look like they never picked up a ball in their life. 🫡

    What’s up Roy? Big Celtics fan but I always enjoyed watching your pacers teams. Thanks for the breakdown. I’m worried because the Celtics actually need someone like you to deal with heavier bigs like embiid, jokic. KP is an underrated defender but he gets bullied sometimes.

      He def goes his job and giving effort. You don’t always get that in the league.
