Honestly, I LOVE this collection! The gold speedy is beautiful and really wearable. I also found the RTW to be actually wearable and the navy hues really rich and lovely. I think Pharrell is doing a great job, I’m certainly more interested in pieces these days!

Talking about charms. The Prada 2012? collection featured all these beautiful iconic luggage tags that were used as bag charms. There was a Knife, A Sun, Hibiscus flowers, PinUpGirl, and some others with the theme of travel and danger... I bought them all that season...you had to go to all the stores to find them all.. I live in NYC at the time. That was the first time I saw the bag charms on the runway in an interesting way.
The only thing I liked was the acrylic flower trunks, so beautiful! Is that pink damier side trunk part of this collection or something from the past? That's cute too.
The Lobster for those in the Know references Flaneur Fin De Cycle Paris. There is an image of a flaneur walking a Lobster on the street on a leash. Also, I hate, I mean hate exotic skins. Makes me sick. I can understand Leather since so many people eat cows... not me... but yeah... exotics are just awful sadistic treatment of animals for fashion. Also the Trunks are turning into just tired antique furniture. Boring. Tired. and Useless. So disappointed. Also Jess Louis Vuitton REDDIT has become riddled with LV propaganda. I think the call centers have taken over the Louis Vuitton Reddit.

As soon as I saw the model with the white graffiti jacket, I was like he's ripping off the Sprouse Collection, he saw how Marc did his for his line last year. Stephen did that print for Marc a long time ago and Marc still asked his family for the licensing rights to use it. I did comment underneath one of Merediths videos about maybe a Sprouse re release and she said no not at all. Its him looking back at LV history it was heavily Marc influenced with the denim pieces. He has been using the Nil bag quite a bit I also saw it in a black leather version. The Ebene speedys are part of the P9s no? They are leather not canvas, same as the Frankenstein drip bags. This collection was not cohesive, it felt hurried. He did Spring Blossoms, why not bring over Murakami Canvas for some of the bags to go on the Eclipse or the Ebene speedys instead of his head. He is a bit of a one trick pony he just has the P9, when you think of the early 00s you realise, no matter how controversial Kanye is he should of had the Menswear after Virgil passed. He would have pushed the brand to new heights, he was the original LV boy of the 2000s. He still has an ongoing friendship with Murakami who did his graduation album artwork. An LV collab with those 2 would be 🤩
Hot take but the only elevated classy LV items are the old school trunks and some select classic bags, otherwise LV is hypebeast stuff, like Gucci/Fendi/Dior. I'M SORRY BUT THAT'S HOW I FEEL IN MY HEART.

I really like my Billionaire Boys Timberlands. They are better than the originals. They are possibly my favorite pair and I've had many variations. I like what Pharrell is doing and I thought I wouldn't cuz he always seemed tacky to me.

Oh I LOVE the graffiti!!! And now it says Tokyo and has kanji?! I’m all in. I will forgo all Murakami for an updated graffiti piece. I didn’t like anything else especially the lobster..uh no. Even if someone gifted me that bag I wouldn’t want it. Also the speedy p9 with the darker vachetta is a no for me as well. I feel like a lot of very cheap fakes have that darker/brown vachetta. Not a fan.
I like the denim bags hoping for a 20 or xs small keepall. The Damier Ebene bags I dont know why the faces on the bag a big noooo. The bag charms to me is a distraction and makes the bag look heavy.
I got a soft spot for the P9 but, the warm vachetta just dont melt nice with the cool undertone of the lime yellow, turquoise, pink or purple bag. I got to touch a P9 and the vachetta was already scratched by someone else and it made me question the quality of the delicate vachetta. I can't deal with vachetta, treated or not...
They are real flowers! I loved those flower trunks too. They’re like 300-500k euro apiece, so if anyone wants to lend me 1.2 million euros… I appreciate your contextualizing what we saw in the show, because I’m not a big follower of capital-F Fashion. I don’t care for the darker vachetta(?) with the lighter colors-I think it would’ve worked better with something more saturated. I hate the jorts/cargo shorts too. And I really don’t get the leather dust bag thing. Like shopper totes I get, because you might otherwise be walking around in public with a shopping bag. In what context would you be walking around outside with a dust bag?

The referencing to other fashion houses seems a bit off. The one bag is clearly him turning their dustbag into a bag like the shopping bag, not the Chanel 19. There is no design house doing anything groundbreaking. And all the houses flat out replicate each other (east west bags, The Row Margaux bag)
My favorite LV mens' was Pre-Fall and Fall 2024. This SP25 was a fail. I really wanted to like it. Basically, I loved the Beach Culture Stuff and the Western Stuff. Not loving this stuff. I'm with you Jessie, and looking at Hermes. The prices at LV are just not worth it. Hermes is looking like a bargain.

It seems like you are just being overly critical because it’s Pharrell…I wonder what you would’ve said when it was Kim Jones or Marc Jacobs. Plus have you even bought anything from his collections? To me the collection seemed all over the place. I liked a couple pieces but nothing I will try and get.
