    It's not real hard to race without contact. Sometimes it happens, but intentionally doing it in open wheel is dirty, just dirty

  • @tylerrogers3263
    @tylerrogers3263 Месяц назад +1

    Look at the two contacts, Daison made contact coming out of the turn, Ballou was completely crossed up and shot down the tract that wasn't Daisons fault, also less speed less contact. Ballou made contact going into the turn carrying a lot more speed and a lot more contact, he was pissed that he got passed and drove straight through Daison.

    Look at Ballou's left side nerf bar. It didn't get that way by itself, Pursley fed him a right rear to pass a few laps earlier. Outside pass at Lincoln Park is TOUGH to do.
    I HAVE raced there..

    • @karaburch7611
      @karaburch7611 Месяц назад +9

      That damage on the nerf bar happened coming out of 4. Ballou got squirly after hitting the cushion. It wasn't Pursleys fault it was just racing. Ballou is my favorite driver, but he shouldn't have given him the right rear like that.

    • @tb4769
      @tb4769 Месяц назад +5

      @@karaburch7611 exactly. Pursley left plenty of room above him on exit Ballou clearly came down. Just racing and didn't require Ballou to respond that way. Ballou has driven that way since all the way back in karts.

    Ballou knew what he was doing, probably just meant to kinda brush tires and let Daison knew he wasn't ok with previous driving. Daison kind of turned down mid corner to defend himself, but this was the ultimate result.

      @@tylerrogers3263 haha you have heard what goes around comes around right. He cant control when someone is going to return the favor so it's best to not put yourself in that position. Luckily it was only a heat race mid season and not last lap for the championship.

    • @tylerrogers3263
      @tylerrogers3263 Месяц назад

      There’s a difference between racing contact and driving through someone. If you know anything about racing you know there’s a difference between driving out of a turn and driving into one. Ballou knew damn well he was going to drive straight into Daison, the first incident was just racing daison sliding up and Ballou coming down it happens a lot, no harm no foul but driving into a turn you know if you’re going slide them or not, and you can’t make a slide when you’re wheel to wheel like that, especially in a heat race, they were both in position to transfer, no sense!

    • @dirtworxphotography245
      @dirtworxphotography245 Месяц назад

      @@tylerrogers3263 again anything on track is a Racing Incident. He should not have put himself in a position to make an enemy. Because this stuff happens. I'm a winged sprint car guy and am non biased about these 2 drivers. Jus how I see it. Not saying anything bad about anyone.

    • @dirtworxphotography245
      @dirtworxphotography245 Месяц назад

      Everyone is innocent until proven guilty lol. In the court of law they would say both are racing incidents and no one is at fault. You can not prove that ballou took him out intentionally therfore he's not guilty

    The first contact Ballou about spun out and parked the car and turned down the track, wouldn't have been contact if that wasn't the case, but I guess the way he saw it there needed to be a payback or whatever that was. I believe they call that a Chicken shit move.

  • @Hazmatt3446
    @Hazmatt3446 Месяц назад +4

    Both being petty. Pursley was high on the track and then dove low into three when he heard Ballou on his left to “slam the door”. That being said, Ballou has a brake pedal.
    THIS WHOLE “SLAMMING THE DOOR” NONSENSE NEEDS TO BE BLACK FLAGGED. It’s over aggressive and needs to be treated as such. Hold your damn line. If you want to win, be faster.
