I suggest you to punch a hole in it, then put the patch on top. It will work a lot better. But for me, I just peel some skin off the top but don’t pop it. And put the patch directly on it. It helps a lot!

I know it sounds weird by try washing with an antibacterial hand soap for a while, and if that doesn't help try Head and Shoulders Shampoo. Swear they work! I just use Dial antibacterial to wash, and then follow with Head and Shoulders. Just create a good lather, wash for 60 seconds minimum with the soap, rinse with lukewarm water, and then follow with the H&S the same way. Give it a few weeks before judging! Good luck! You can still moisturize after, just make sure it's non-comedogenic

With really stubborn ones I use them longer and that helps me at least.

If the gunk is loose you can use CLEAN tweezers or two damp Q tips and pull it out it may be a bit inflamed for a little bit it goes down in like 2 hours

The patches don't 'absorb' the gunk except for a specific kind i think, they just make the gunk rise to the top so you can wipe or gently pop the pimple without giving ur skin all the gross side effects of popping a pimple normally, make sure you wash your face right after and put another one on tho

there are many reasons you shouldn’t do that. 1: your dirty fingernails get into it and make it even worse 2: when you pop it it’s a literal *open wound.* that can get dirt and gunk in it which will make an even worse pimple in the future. 3: you shouldn’t touch your face at all to keep it healthy 4: it’s a lot “safer” (as in, better than popping it) 5: popping it often leads to a permanent scar which imo, is a lot worse than having a little “embarrassing” pimple. and other reasons I won’t say because this comment would be 3 paragraphs long. *PLEASE* do not pop your pimples. plus, not touching it makes it leave eventually on it’s own without any consequences I listed above.
it doesn't take the pimple out but puts chemicals on the skin to help it rise and easy to pop, then take a HOT rag and put it on the popped pimple and try it again. I have really bad pimples and this helps a lot ^^!! hope this helps
My aunt had a pimple so I came up with an idea! So I mixed baby powder ( to be exact Johnson’s baby powder ) and water together until a smooth like consistency, then, we applied it onto my aunt’s pimple overnight and it worked! But I’m not sure it will work for u
I had the same issue bc I use curology, I’ve found that if you replace it with another one it will completely get rid of and leaves a very small red mark and that’s it, they worked pretty well for me if I do that

Think of the hydrocolloid patch as a bandage rather than a zit solution. It doesn’t actually do much for most zits, it just sucks up excess oil and puss that might leak out. Or help heal actual small injuries on your face. It isn’t intended to make zits go away completely overnight.

Instead, all that the patch does is create a moist environment in which the pus will rise to the surface of your pimple, and then you can wipe away the pus safely without giving ur skin the trauma of squeezing ita hashly. Make sense? I've been using pimple patches for years and trust me this is exactly what they do. I always give my pimples the gentlest of squeezes after removing the patch so that all the pus comes out, and then I wash the area until it is clean. Then I put on another patch to help the pimple heal, because it's an open wound and if u leave it like that it might become infected again.

Hydrogen peroxide is not good to use on your skin. It can irritate or damage cells, so your skin won’t heal as quickly.

It worked perfectly, just use a toner pad or some cleanser on the pimple and the gunk will just wash off
The best pimple patch ever it’s the one by some by mi literally the best
just pinch it really quick if it’s that superficial 🙄 or literally wipe it off with a tiny bit of pressure and it will be gone in no time.
