iIt is surprising that you did not notice any difference between portrait mode in all three options. Just look at the edge detection of 14 to 15 and 16 in all portraits 15 and 16 even managed to separate individual hairs which 14 dosent , which is remarkable.15:52

Hey 8’m glad you liked the video and that it was helpful. While 14 is still a great choice and it will still be an amazing phone for lot more years, I would say if you could stretch ur budget by a bit and go for 15, it would give you a phone with newer design with Dynamic Island, newer generation cameras, matte back which looks infinitely better than glossy glass back, 2 more GB of RAM which will be very beneficial as the phone ages and a few more years of software updates. Since you like to use ur phone for many years moat of these things will be beneficial for you, specially in the later years. Also consider the fact that 14 might be discontinued in March as the next iPhone SE might replace it as it will have same design (minus 1 rear camera), and much better or I should say newer internals.
Great comparison video again as always. A suggestion would be to include a night mode video comparison as well, that should show the difference in video quality on all models for both main and ultrawide lenses. You could do a panning video of the buildings to show how much light the lenses can capture at night.

Hey I felt it takes a bit greenish images in some cases, but if you feel ur images look a bit yellowish, you can try using the photographic styles. Try he Rich cool photographic style, take some images and try playing with the warm slider in this style, once you are happy with the colours, set it as default for all your images.
When will we have iphone 16 vs 16 pro camera comparison? Viewers will like to see comparisons between the current latest offerings in the market rather than much older phones

Great video you explained everything this is how camera comparisons should be done. TBH one thing which makes Iphone 16 different from these two phones is the ability to shoot macro shots but i think its not worth to spend extra money for Iphone 16, iphone 15 sits as a perfect balance between these two phones

@ i mean that do video tests also in every situation like in bright light, while facing the sun, show cinematic videos, ultra video wide videos in different situations like you did in photos. as a vlogger it will help us more
iPhone 14 and 15 are recording audio in stereo and 16 is recording spatial audio. It sounds much better straight out of the phone, I guess YT doesn’t process that audio all that well and hence you feel its audio is not as good.

Thanks for bringing up this point. I saw your comment last night and I updated my 14 to iOS 18.1 and took a few shots at night time and a few more during the day today. I did not find any noticeable decrease in camera quality between iOS 17.7 and 18.1, but the image processing time on iOS 18.1 is definitely slightly longer on the iPhone 14. I guess there are a lot more commutations going on in the background which is causing the delay of few extra milliseconds. But as I said, thanks for bringing up this point.

No. It has old photographic styles. These new ones are only available on iPhone 16 series.

Go all the way with 16. The green tint and skin tone are kinda better in 16 as well
moral of the video: unless you have 2 other phones to compare with; theyre 95% the same and you most likely wont tell the difference
