sweden did once upon a time buy french artillery.. ended up with Bofors buying the factory in france and ending it as the pieces was too bad. (they cracked in the base if i remember correct)

Nice with that "bandkanon 1" in the beginning. 15 shells in 45 seconds. Hard to beat that one.

Yep, why invent new things when the reqired platform already exists and has been proven in heavy duty mining industry. And the gun is the good old Haubitz 77 but with longer barrel.

It can stop, shoot 3 rounds and scoot in 50 seconds.. thats about 2-3 seconds faster then the first round hits the target. There is another video where on YT where they demonstrate it and times how long it takes to stop, get ready, fire and scoot. The video is called shoot and scoot.

I’m fascinated by this platform, but I would want to look at the maintenance requirements are, and how difficult it is to order parts. Systems like this are definitely the future. Got to extend that range out a little farther…

So shoot and run tactics, next we need a 220mm cannon with the same capabilities with longer range.

Was just thinking, with the computing power he have today why can't they build an artillery system that can fire while moving? Granted stability would be an issue, but why jot smaller units and the mobile Mortar units?
