I have always wanted to make a good broom. We have Australian pine trees nearby so I made a little broom with the pine needles but it fell apart. I think I'll have to tie it tighter next time. I love 1800s pioneer life re-enactments. Recently I went to one and learned how to twine a rug.
I hear a oil feild engine running in the background, maybe this was filmed at a steam thresher reunion show, very cool video im very interested in making some brooms this year,Daddy passed away this year i was thinking of making some in his memory because he crew broom corn for the last few years.
This was at the Fall Show at Boonville, Indiana. It is one of the friendliest little shows you will ever see. We have missed the last few years because we are caring for an elderly parent, but we will go again!
Very cool. We need to do these kinds of things here in the USA again.

Que bien.
I make a broom👍🏿
where can you find that broom corn?
Henry Field, Gurney's, and Shumway should all have the seed. The seed looks more like milo than corn.
DavidN23Skidoo Thank you!
Absolutely amazing! I love this!
