  • A powerful low pressure system came up the Coast with a classic heavy wet snow storm and gusty winds, 12 inches falling by the time it was all said and done. We had wind advisory’s in the valley and a High Wind Warning for the Berkshire’s, the winds definitely were an underperformer as we really only saw gusts topping 30 MPH. Then a few days later, another system comes through with more wind and heavy rain this time, picking a widespread 3 to 4 inches of rain, Flood Watches were placed into affect days before this system for expected river creek nd street flooding along with all the melting snow, again highest wind gust was around 30 MPH here in the valley with higher gusts in terrains, then getting hit with another mild system and picking up another 1-2 inches (probably around or little more than an inch here) making for a not so bad Saturday with temps in the low 50’s!
Also, as of flooding in the surrounding areas there were alot including what I’ve shown, some other streets had a mini pond, rivers are raging, a school in town flooded apparently and there’s a bunch of basement flooding, somehow ours isn’t flooded and that I don’t know whether to be happy or scared because the basement usually floods with torrential rains and thunderstorms a foot of snow and 3 or more inches of rain on top of that is I’d say about equal. Also, a lot of crops were damaged and even some backyards with all the rain that saturated everything and left big puddles and even ponds, I rode past a house in my town whos garden on the ground or whatever on the ground was washed away all dirty and stuff now the rain flooded the crap outta of that thing I bet
