My husband and I visited for our Anniversary in Dec last year. I couldn't finish eat the food,it was too much but tasty 🥴. That calalloo soup alone fill me up.

I remember when this hotel was built. The revolving restaurant was always there. I attended a wedding reception in the ball room when it was brand new.
Nice, I’m still surprised that no where else in the Caribbean copied this revolving restaurant concept and the fact that it’s still operational is amazing and kuddos to the engineers and the maintenance peeps at the hotel fort this
I was in Trinidad for 5 years and didn't realize this landmark. I'm heading back this year and this will be the first place I'll visit.

Their food is good, I can see they maintained the standard back to when it was Holiday Inn and The Crown Plaza.
I will trust your judgement on this one Ann, as this was my first visit, but the food was good…especially the lamb 😁

Vibes thanks for another great vlog especially the update I didn't know this hotel is no longer the Crown Plaza Hotel. Never knew that the top rotated, thought it was a design style. Considering when the hotel was opened tnt was really ahead of the Caribbean then having a revolving restaurant. Its Guyana turn now to set trends. Glad to see collaborations between locals, I will subscribe to Julia channel. Do they still have the taxi drivers with the big American cars working for the hotel? Keep it up.

Omgoodness! Some time ago, I was asking my mom about that spinning restaurant and so happy to know that it still does. The omelet station reminds me of the Embassy Suites in the USA. I need to take my mom there to experience that brunch and see the 360 views. Thank you so much for this video.

What is cost per plate, parking garages available nearby? Food don’t look to appetizing breakfast and what about the lunch options ?
Hey it was $400 TTD per person, it was a buffet, so all you can eat from 11:30-2:30… there is a parking garage which you don’t have to pay and this brunch is only on a Sunday…you may have to call the restaurant to find out about the lunch options or even dinner

Morning bro, for special events, because I did this on Easter Sunday, the cost for 2 was $800 TTD, on a normal Sunday it’s around $600 for 2 people, you can always call them at (868)2353366 to find out more info, hope this helps

No, although you can purchase drinks, which would be a separate tab from the Brunch itself
I only went the all you can eat, was this all you can eat or just wat you get you eat ?
It’s an all you can eat within the period of brunch, which is between 11am to 2pm I believe

About a 3-5 minutes walk to the elevator, which will take you directly to the restaurant

yes i can vouch for that i remeber it as the holiday inn back in the 70s and at that time it was the only hotel in the caribbean with a rotating restaurant especially that high up.

You can just go, but I would recommend making a reservation on those special events days: like Easter, Mother's Day, Christmas Brunch etc.

you call that a lot of money ? that is only £40 in english money. that is very cheap for a meal like that. if you were in london that would set you back 800 trinidad dollars per person easy.

The food looks DISAPPOINTING. This hotel is very very dated. The magic stops once you leave the lobby. Cross the road and head to the HYATT for a real experience.
