    Does it flame out like most four strokes in technical? How much does it weigh? How much impact does the reciprocating mass have on its tight trail handling? How often do valves need to be checked? It is great that some of the physical dimensions were mentioned and led to an improvement in the handling, but what about all the other important factors?

    Had have had 2 WR 250s ..22 and 23 models. Fantastic in the flowing open stuff but struggled with them stalling in tricky tight stuff and seat to high. Apart from those gripes no issues..super reliable. Moved to the Sherco 300 SEF.

    I’ve got a 2023, 250F basically the same I’m running the Mx power map and the toque map I’m mostly in the Mx power map I’ve got about 175 hours and just about 5000 km a lot of fast riding logging roads fire roads and a lot of technical slow single track stuff I turned my idle up about 250 rpm . The bike is so nimble and fast there isn’t any place I can’t go with it , the bike can lug up hills like a tractor I love my 250 oh Yha I took the baffle out of my exaust and made my self a gytr race baffle but I’m going to buy a race exaust muffler for my bike this year I don’t race or really abuse the bike so I’m sure this bike will go for 400 to 500 hours 14000km or more as long as I stick to my routine of maintenance I still need to pull the bike apart to grease up all the bearings again this year and suspension linkages

    Small bump compliance my ass. These are valved too hard for rocks and roots. Reports are valving for 25 is the same as previous model. I have the clickers all the way out on my 23 forks and it's still too hard. Even if you yolo it and hit everything fast. Midvalve shims need rearranging. Yes you won't bottom it but trail guys generally never do. You can see in the slowmo fist size rocks jarring his arms. Probably going back to a euro. If you ride stupid fire trails it's fine. Engine is OK, can never find neutral and its shit to start in gear. No need faster, fix basic shit first Yamaha it's not good enough to overlook these things. Stop building them for pros, they aren't the ones buying em

    • @turbostyler
      @turbostyler 17 дней назад +5

      I bought the 450 because I wanted to tractor up hills. I rode a mates 250 and it did have decent power, it didn't have the tractor like torque.

      Because we ride to have fun! And 450s are more fun than 250s. Nothing exceeds like excess. 450s last longer because your not revving the snot out of it the whole time looking for power that isn't there swell. Your probably just a little fella that's why you like the 2fiddy.
