I love this video but I have a question, wouldn’t this technically be an anxiety attack instead? From what I could tell at the beginning, Shigiraki walked in already distressed and had the time to bring Dabi into a separate room before the attack. This usually doesn’t happen with panic attacks. Panic attacks are almost immediately onset because of a trigger that is traumatic to them(really bad wording but I can’t think of another way to say it rn). Both an anxiety attack and a panic attack have the same results(hyperventilating etc), but anxiety attacks are something that people can feel coming. If I am wrong then please correct me, but from my knowledge this would be an anxiety attack. It’s a very common thing to mix up, I just want to set the labels/definitions straight :)

I have a panic attack twice a day and sometimes three because I panic way too much and if I panic too much I’ll lose control and bang my head on the wall and pass out then I’ll wake up hours later and remember what happened and I’m always glad it’s over at the end of the day

I’ve experienced panic attacks normally at my old school and they’re the worse I like to compare it to my asthma and it’s kinda the same just with asthma it’s heavy breathing and more likely to need to go to the hospital more if you experience a attack for asthma where with panic attacks you should have someone by your side at all cost but if you don’t maybe get your pet or one of your favorite teddys that may help
With my panic attacks I find it best to sit down and get away from everyone, I also almost always look up pictures of puppies after I calm down a little

We became best friends since and always looked out for each other when we had anxiety or panic attacks (I used to have anxiety attacks every day, but they’ve gotten better and I only have them 1-2 times a week)

Thank you for posting this. A few days after I first had watched this, one of my online friends had a panic attack while we were playing a game. I was able to help him out of it using the method in this video. Don't know if this was just situation specific but it worked that time.

I got one at school(if you dont like bragging then leave) so i it one at school and i sat down like basically fell over my friend ran over hugged me and did pretty much this and told me to focus on one thing but it was hard to caise you know school is a loud environment and i couldnt so we went to a quiet room and told me to focus on one thing i told her what i was focusing on and she just told me to rest and asked me if it was ok if she told a teacher i said yes and i went home god she is my therapist

I was sitting down and kinda shaking waiting to hear gunshots or something. I was terrified. No one noticed or payed attention. I didn’t know what to do so I stayed quiet and tried to think of something else but I couldn’t. Soon it was over and we got back to working. I couldn’t stop being anxious and worrying. When I tried to tell my Nana about it later it was really difficult. I don’t think I was having a panic attack, but I felt really close to it.
I got a panic attack once and nobody was around so I just grabbed a water bottle I had in my room and started drinking a whole bunch of water and that surprisingly helped. Now I just carry a water bottle everywhere I go because they suck

I do wonder if this like actually helps- when I’ve got a panic attack I’m usually alone- of course everyone handles things different but what helps me is to grab pen and paper and start to scrabble if I’m not too far in
