It just so happens that the London's, New Yorks, LA, Sydney, Paris etc are the most popular cities in the world. Also, being multicultural cities, you get different dishes from various nationalities, and I suppose because some of it is not as common, those vendors can charge more for their food because it's unique.

I kind of love how diverse Britain is. It’s out of some places the most unique depending on where you go. However this isn’t British food. You need a fat roast. Cheese on toast. English breakfast. Fish finger sandwich. Fish and chips with mushy peas, battered sausage and curry sauce. Yorkshire puddings. So much more then people think. Crumpets and jam or marmite. Eggs Benedict. British chips.
