SNOWDONIA National Park (aka ERYRI National Park, Welsh: Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) is a mountainous region located in North Wales, covering an area of about 2,130 km2 (823 square miles). It is named after Mount Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa), the highest peak in Wales and England, standing at 1085 metres (3560 ft) above sea level. The park is known for its rugged landscapes, including mountains, valleys, lakes, and ancient forests, making it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
The region's rich history dates back to prehistoric times, with evidence of human settlements and ancient landmarks like hill forts and burial chambers scattered throughout the park. Additionally, remnants of Wales's industrial past can be seen in the form of old slate quarries and mines.
Welsh culture is deeply embedded in the region, with the Welsh language still spoken by many locals. Visitors can immerse themselves in the local traditions, music, and culinary delights at charming villages and cultural events.

That was the best video for this journey I have seen. Congratulations !! I travelled this journey twice a week for two years on the A5 to Dinorwig. Starting from the Midlands to work on the Electric Mountain Project. Thank you I was a smiling passenger all the way. Best Regards.

The fact that this video makes me feel as if I'm there shows how realistic the video is. I could only imagine how it would be if I was physically there. These videos are so relaxing. ❤😊

I love this video. We got to know and love Snowdonia through the Dragon Rally. We are still in Bewts-y-Coed in February, with our sidecar. We go for long walks and enjoy the weather. It's almost always good in Wales in February.

Glad you liked it :) I can see here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Rally that there are thousand of riders every year, I cannot imagine so many motorcycles on these roads. How long is the convoy, it must be miles...

Well thank God, they are not all at the same time on the road. But there are around the DragonRally weekend already more motorcycles than usual in the winter, on the road.

Thanks for doing this journey. I know these roads well but haven't driven them for some years. All looks the same except the roads seem narrower than I remember them! I'll maybe go there in the autumn to catch the colour in the leaves. Are you going to drive any more of the great routes that we have here in the UK?

Thank you :) Honestly I would like to visit so many places in England, Scotland but the driving on the "wrong" 😉 side of the road, shifting gears with the left hand 😅 was so stressful! 😁 I'm not so sure I'll do it again anytime soon.

I'd love to visit Wales and its mountains, it's a shame that Snowdonia seems to be so poorly connected by public transport. There is not even a direct train from Liverpool Airport to Llandudno or Bangor. As it is, it's more convenient for me to go to the Alps in Italy or Switzerland. At least there you can get by train easily from the airports in Zürich or Milano.
