+Primusinterparesone I have not read the original instructions that come with the watch but I can reassure you that the way I tell you how to do it is correct. Generally speaking, and this applies to any watch with the quick date mechanism, the most important thing to remember is not to use the quick date while the hands are set approximately between 10 pm and 3 am. By doing so you avoid any damage to the date wheel and or any of the other wheels of the date changing mechanism.
+umberto palmeri the instructions say pull to position2 adjust the date ( by turning the crown clockwise )to the date prior to the intended date you wish to set it to then pull the crown to position 3 and adjust till the date changes after passing through the 12 o clock and then subsequently set the. Hour and minute
Depending on what the condition of your warch is and if you have box and papers it could be between $3000 and 4000 for a stainless steel. However the best way to find out the value of any watch is to go on ebay. Search for the same watch you have. Go in filter and check mark completed items and sold items. Good luck.
