      Jokes aside this is how physicians and doctors should actually look. If it’s not peak health and aesthetics - then what do they really know?

      @@StanislavKozlovskright? It’s amazing how bad the average physician’s health is and we’re supposed to trust them 😮

    • @alienturtle1946
      @alienturtle1946 9 дней назад +5

      @@StanislavKozlovsk A few thoughts. I agree that doctors should be very healthy themselves. I don’t think peak aesthetics should be a requirement, because a lot of that is genetic, and we’d just be artificially excluding competent, healthy, but unattractive doctors.
      Another thing to note though, is that medical training is brutal, the selection is arbitrarily difficult, just because there’s an oversupply of students who want to get in, and an undersupply of seats to get into. Same again for residency. This inevitably comes with a health toll for many (perhaps not all).
      Also, for the most part doctors are trained in treating disease, which isn’t quite the same as optimizing health. Some doctors themselves will say we practice “sick care“ rather than “health care“. As such, I think many have a “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it “mindset, which they apply to their own lives as well. That’s what I see in my father, who is a physician. Perhaps over time we will see health optimization emerge as a separate specialty.

      I used it with a torn hamstring and that, along with very early rehab, I went from unable to move my leg without intense pain to hiking 8 miles a day in the Rockies on a vacation in exactly 4 weeks. I still had some tightness and didn’t do anything stupid but I pushed pretty hard for 4 days in a row and had zero issues. That injury should’ve taken twice that long to get to that level of recovery so I’ll 100% be using it if I have some injury again.
