True story, I was tying my boat to a pylon one day slipped and fell over board I slide down a pylon covered in barnacles, I was cut up just as bad as young Kevin. when i got to shore an old guy asked what happened to me, I told him the story and he said I should get to hospital so they could clean the cuts properly, I was like I don't have time for that and asked him how I should clean them. He handed me a bottle of rubbing alcohol, and said walk about a mile that way over there and wash yourself with it, I said why all the way over there? he replied saying he didn't want to see or hear a grown man cry like a baby so I did what he said and boy did it fucking hurt, I was lucky none of them got infected, as I know people that did get infected cuts from shellfish and there were in excruciating pain for years. Pro tip, don't fuck with shellfish or try and hold onto a pylon covered in them lol.
