Upon receiving notification of a new Sharpe video, I immediately made haste away from my family for 5 minutes on a Sunday evening. That's my style, sir
Did any video distinguish itself?
And a grand style it is Sir, if I may be so bold!!
Upon seeing a new Sharpe video, I decided to comment about soldiering. That's my style sir!
...did any viewer distinguish himself?
@@threestrikesmarxman9095 The channel owner dithered
Why am I frequently watching these clips??? I've got the boxset ffs!!! 😂😂😅
Setting fire to the cart and using it as a weapon. That's Macgyvering.
Even in the heat of battle, Harper shows proper respect in a Catholic church. That's soldiering.
I noticed that in the TV series Viviar seems almost like a weaker character than in the books, because when he kills his brother in the books he screams out in triumph.
How does that make him seem weaker ?
In this case I think it was a better fit. The way in which their story was told and the fight carried out (and where it was staged) made this ending fit better than the idea that one revelled in the killing of the other.
Exactly it feels more real I guess I mean the way vivar says brother as he dies adds a lot of weight and emotion I think
Screaming in triumph after killing a relative, even for betrayal, that's definitely not soldiering. Killing a relative for betrayal but remembering that he's a relative and accomplishing his last will, that's soldiering.
"That'll teach him" 😂
Amazing how those old single shot muskets fire multiple rounds…..
"Saint James" quoth Sharpe. "Santiago!" he gets instantly corrected.
They're both right.
@@DonaldWMeyers-dwm Yes, that is the point of the comment.
Harper prayed after he killed french soldier
Atfirst sight od seeing a new sharpe i naturally gave the order to like theats my styles sir
Shank your own brother in a church during a pitch battle? That's real guerilla warfare...
To be fair his bro pulled out a pistol.
Anyone complaining about accuracy realists needs to realize adding 10 minutes of guys missing is not good for television 😂😂
I get mildly irritated by the depiction of the extremely experienced and combat hardened French veterans as being inept soldiers and having the aim of star wars Imperial stormtroopers
I liked how paddy crossed himself even the heat of battle all things religion and all things war
So the fate of the Peninsula campaign depended on like 8 Spanish/British guys beating up 10 French guys and some old British man looking at it all while the hero kissed the Spanish leader and then insulted the name of the whatever flag they flew?
Colonel Sharpe:By Gum lads we have the best cause in the world:100 more years of aristocratic rule!
