Beautifully theatrical, catches the spirit of Weill. Two profoundly deep musicians. Around 1:00, when camera pans from her face to his, the looks on both their faces are so sensitively attuned, to the moment in the music and to each other. Wow.

I've always had an alergic reaction to to the classically trained voice even this one comming from such a clearly tallanted artist but it's been an inate reaction since childhood. But anyone pursuing Legeti is ok by me. So go babe.

I had the chance to see Hannigan on stage (notably in the Human Voice) and I'm in love with her.
However I'm with you on that, these ventures of Hannigan into Weill do nothing for me.
Generally I'm a fan of music travelling accross high brow to low brow, Brodway to/from Opera, song, cabaret, etc.
But this one doesn't click for me. Her breath work is too perfect, her beautiful trills too distracting. It's a beautiful cheesy song that moves me when it is song cheesily (ruclips.net/video/GqPqux11QSE/видео.html). For me this recording is more beautiful than moving.
