@@TallPaulTech well, thanks for sharing this stuffs anyway and wake up Neo, with 52k subs you are way beyond self vlogging. now you are a foking celeb, dude ;)
Ok, it's been 3 weeks and I needed to restart the server after a kernel update and the prompt is still gone. Version 8.2.4, kernel version 6.8.12-1-pve
same however I commented out the complete 'Ext.Msg.Show' block then added 'orig_cmd();' so both the true and false sides did the same. On my browser I then pressed Ctrl F5 and logged in without a subscription warning
From the proxmox forum, "This is free and open software, you can patch the source to your liking." Of course they want you to buy a support subscription, but they don't care if you remove the nag screen on your personal/testing setup. But for production setup you should have a subscription.
One of those things that was simply never annoying enough for me to look into, but when someone makes it THIS easy... :) Thanks!
i do not use proxmox, but i do appreciate a straight-to-the-point BS-free signal.
You do realise this is mostly for my own notes, right?

Thank you! This was on my to-do list, but not anymore. I totally get having this by default, but let people disable it. Seriously!
Yeah, it needs to be done.
Doesn't work on 8.2.2
Worked for me on 8.2.4 though
@@richardlewis2096 Worked until I restarted the server. Restart your server and see if it still works. If so: great.
@@potzblitz49583 It did persist after I restarted (I just tested it as I needed a reboot anyway). I wonder now if it will persist after an update.

@@TallPaulTech I love these random roasts when someone compliments you

Does not work on Proxmox v8.1.11.

Damn, thank you Paul!! Works!
My shit always works sometimes.
@@TallPaulTech hahaha, that is my line!
What a legend you are, cheers!
It is wrong. If you do not like it then buy the subscription!
You are wrong, the subscription is to get stable updates, not for a stupid ass banner

Worked for me on 8.1.10!
does not work 8.1.4
Nice one, I’ve got Proxmox running on two Dell servers - both about to get some Tall Paul medicine …
Mate... that's what I'm here for
maybe dont hit enter so quick, some of us are trying to see wtf you type or command you use. frustrating
Harden up
Tall Paul rocking with his giant howk, again! hah! Love it.
You could probably block it within ublockorigin or something but this is pretty simple. Thanks.
thx
This is vying for the best video on the internet, holy crap! Thanks.
What about that video with your mamma?... you know the one..
More of these tutes.
What do you need?
How about.. spending the 110 bucks to get a license?
not needed for personal use
110 bucks for a banner seems a little unreasonable if you are fine with getting the unstable updates
You understand that free personal use is permitted, right?
