Apar Gupta Explains Digital Personal Data Protection Protection Bill

The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2023 has been passed by the Parliament on 9th of August 2023. The bill will have a direct impact on how the data collected from your devices will be processed and used and how it could affect your life on a fundamental level. In this video, we talk to Apar Gupta, an advocate and co-founder of the Internet Freedom Foundation. He is an advocate for digital rights and has appeared in several constitutional cases about the right to privacy and civil liberties on the internet. He also has deposed before a committee while considering the PEGASUS alligations and much more. Apar Gupta goes into detail and explains the Digital Personal Data Protection Rights Act in this video.
