- Chris’ very nice LBSC SPEEDY, with much added detail romps around the Maidstone MES club track in Mote Park. A really nicely finished model with plenty of extra detail, it runs beautifully! A pleasure to drive!

I have been following a build of a 'Speedy' in a model eng/forum, being built by a chap named Roger, his isn't finished yet, but I'm certainly impressed by the performance your engine has done, cheers and thanks for sharing
Not mine, a friends… it is a great loco, I have one that doesn’t run quite as well, but still a good loco.

I thought at first it WAS your Speedy, Tom! Maidstone is your own club track, isn't it? I see from the records that this Speedy came in second. I haven't seen the details in ME yet so I don't know what load the driver took on.
Yes a speedy did come in second, the articles have been published in ME now, and there was an excellent video created which is available on RUclips covering the whole event. Maidstone is my club track, and I really must get speedy back in ticket.
