  • This video was made for the purpose of walking you through the step of becoming a Pilot. (Receiving your Private Pilots Certificate) I recently gained my Private Pilot Certificate, and am a member of a number of new/student pilot groups on facebook. I see this posted almost daily "I want to be a pilot, where do I start?" so this video was made to answer that question. If you have any more questions or videos you would like to see regarding this amazing hobby, please put them in the comments, and I will see if I can make a video to help you out.
If you are ready to send start your pilot journey, Online ground school is the way to go, you can do it at your pace around your schedule and save tons of time/money. I used and swear by Part Time Pilot. The score I got on all my practice test was the exact same score I got on my FAA written which was an 85%. I did also use them for checkride prep and plan on using them for IFR ground school as well. They do weekly Q&A live streams, Nick (the owner himself) responds to all emails very quickly, and most importantly it gives you LIFETIME access, and a money back guarantee. I have an affiliate link below to share if you are serious about getting going. Happy flight training!

Solid points! Keeping training consistency is key.
To all aspiring pilots please remember: you are not only a student but a paying costumer and should be treated accordingly. No one is doing you a favor by providing mediocre service. I say that as a CFI for living.

Just a personal preference of mine, but the jump cuts between the front/side camera's are too frequent. I'd prefer to just have the front camera with some text transitions or something! Great video regardless.

The ground school I like was Part time pilot (link in the description). As for flight school it’s hodge flight services. I’m in the SF Bay Area. I’m from SoCal though!

This is a great video, but the bouncing back and forth between the head on and side camera is distracting and unnecessary. I wouldn't bother with it.

@@Officialflymedia just alternating between a wider and then tighter head on shot from the same camera is more than enough. Use visual cutaways too, where you can.
