Classic haha there's no need at all for the sticker because the Taiwanese seem to think we're going to starve if they don't constantly feed us and that was before the bloody stickers 😂
Awesome! I visited sun moon lake some years ago with work. Incredibly generous, friendly and considerate people. Don't forget to get an ice cream at the top of Taipei 101.
Though you may learn that "ni hao" is the Chinese way to say hello, in Taiwan a more local way would be "tsia̍h-pá--buē" (呷飽未) , which is in Taiwanese and means "Did you eat yet?" That tells you how much importance we put in food and diet and may explain what you have experienced. Ask some locals for the correct pronunciation of it. That would connect you more to the land. I love your videos, though they made me extremely homesick. You two are wonderful. Keep on going.

Hey, I have asked a few times already but what kind of insurance do you guys have for the car. Insurance companies in France won't insure anything outside Europe so what did you do ? Is your vehicle covered in you have an accident ? Thank you from FRANCE, Kevin
Since leaving the EU it's very difficult to find vehicle insurance. We're always insured with the local compulsory 3rd party liability in the countries we travel but insuring the vehicle is very difficult and expensive. I've only found one company that will insure a foreign registered vehicle on a trip like ours. Clements Worldwide. Even then there's a lot of grey areas...
