- I get this error a lot and decided to make a video on how to correct the error during a fresh windows install.
*Yes doing this will erase your disk but this video is intended for people doing a clean install of windows.*

Wonder why 40 people would give a thumbs down??? It totally worked for me. But even if, by chance, they did thumbs down because it didn't work for them, the information was presented in a straight terse on screen demonstration so I don't know how it could warrant a thumbs down. Bought a used desktop for 2 USD with an AMD FX6300 and GA-78LMT mobo a couple of months bac and since I recently upgraded my GPU on my main PC I had an RX 580 laying around so I decided to set up a second PC for my bro and couldn't install windows because my SSD I put in was GPT. Thank you so much, this worked and it was nice and easy.

Thank you, I was at a loss. I'd like to add, that after converting to mbr, you don't need to restart the setup, just click on the refresh button below the disk list.
very good information sir just one information for viewers when u type clean all the data in ur hard disk will be wipe out so if u have any data in D or E DRIVE just take it backup first

I did it for changing a single partition. But all the disk was erased :(
I save few old data in my usb rack. But i lose many other things :(

but it didn't it still says virtual disk service error specified disk is not convertible because size is less than minimum but it's a 64gb sd card with 30 mb on it..
When I press Shift+f10, nothing will happen. The keyboard works fine, but nothing happen. I have the newest windows 10 install disc - version 2004:(
