These videos show just how important the ambulance service is and what a vital job they do. I only wish there was more money to increase the number of vehicles and crew to cope with the ever increasing demand for their services. I have the greatest respect for the medical staff who deal with the injured- they are angels on wheels!

It’s so sad that the woman with cancer daughter can’t come to be with her mom in her time of need 😢

I understand but I don’t understand where the compassion steps in.

Poor Hazel 😢 I think there are a lot of very lonely senior citizens around the world just waiting for their life to be over. I hope social services were able to help her.

Me too. She was showing signs of serious mental health issues. My dad started to collect tissues like that when he was diagnosed with dementia. She obviously needs some help bless her heart.

Our ambulance service here in the U.S., well they are great at what they do, but your ambulance service in the UK, it is so superior in all aspects. Love this show, love your ambulance techs, and all that goes with it!

While watching all these British medical documentaries, I realize that they always talk very heartily and in a empathetic way. This is definitely not the case in Germany.

Im in absolute awe of the amazing level of overall care the UK offers. Its holistic and a drastic difference from Sweden where I live.
With exceptions the healthcare here is just technical with 0 care or concern for patients.
    I am not kidding.

What a great documentary, love the true stories of all the patients. I’m from the states and also a cardiovascular nurse, we don’t have ambulance care like you do for your patients, really don’t understand how England survives without going broke. It’s like you are running a taxi and treatment service? God Bless all the air and ambulance people who truly have a demanding and stressful job. If Hazel lived in Florida, we would visit her, so much needs to be done with our senior citizens throughout the world, that don’t have a support system.

Don’t many of the calls for ambulance have the ability to drive themselves or have a friend or family member drive them to hospital?

Maybe that’s not how they do it in the UK? Their system I know is a lot different than hours where we can change doctors any time, go to an urgent care, make our own appointments as we choose, and have a lot more control and power over our options. It costs us….but so does nhs. You either pay for medical yourself or through higher taxes. I like having my options and picking my own insurance.
