If you decide not to try to sell the bassoon by yourself I may recommend contacting Bocal Majority for consignment. They do a FANTASTIC job selling bassoons (all the shows Dr. Auerbach goes to is unbelievable) and I actually purchased mine through them. I may be partial because Dr. A is my teacher but there had been many a lesson where we tried out newly consigned bassoons to find the perfect match
I was like “okay, okay... rollers for right thumb, high e key, e flat trill key, okay.... how much?? Wait... wha-?! 23,000?! Nope sorry 😐” Btw, I believe that it is 23,000 because I’ve seen some similar at similar prices.
Hey! I've never done anything like this, as my bassoon now was gifted to me and since I didn't have a bassoon before it, I didn't think of testing it, haha. Would you be willing to ship the 5732 to me to let me try it out for two weeks or so? I live in southcentral Kentucky so I feel that the climate is pretty similar to the one you're always describing. Hope to hear back! Thanks.

Yes- they are going for more new at trade shows. I wish I could do less for it!
Very exciting! Will share with Utah Double Reed Society and my students. Thanks!
You're the best! Thanks for the share.
Hi! Is the Puchner #5732 still available?

Hi Angus. Please send me a private message via my website contact form www.erynoft.com and we can chat through details.
The secondary bassoon market is so shady and weird. It’s kind of impossible to be a casual hobbyist with a great instrument.
i assume that both have been sold after 3 years right?
I pulled the less expensive puchner off the market. But if there was someone that was genuinely interested I would make a deal.
Omg so expensive..
Hey I’m here
I'm so happy you are! Made my day to hear from you.
